Cool idea. I used two pieces of wooden dowel cut to length and filed to the inner dimension of the lever mounts, and then glued and gently hammered them in. You can personalise how long you want your extensions. I then wrapped them in regular handlebar tape. They show no sign of breaking but I only use them on the flat or uphill for my own peace of mind.

Nice. I think what you did is better in terms of strength than these 3d printed extensions. They are still on my handlebar but I dont trust it with my weight. Now I only grip these when in relaxed riding.

Good solution. But these 3rd party bar manufacturers should just add 35 mm to the hoods. How hard can that be?

I'd go for the steel. Corner bars users are usually not that concerned with the weight of their bikes.

hindi pa din comfortable kahit may extender. iba pa din ung dropbar hoods. nagpa 3D print din ako months ago kaso inalis ko din since di talaga comfortable. overall, kanto bars or corner bars are just a way para magkaron ng cheap alternative in mounting hydraulic brakes. Kung may affordable hydraulic groupset na STI platform then i believe walang bibili ng kanto bars

Yes tama ka lods. Yan talaga ang main reason bakit naimbento ang corner bars. Para sa mga gustong magdrop bars pero using mtb hydro brakeset
