Lorne Campbell is a well known Canadian outlaw biker from Ontario. He had become a chapter president of both the Satan's Choice and Hells Angel Motorcycle Clubs, as well as being involved in one of the most controversial legal cases in Canadian History, the Port Hope 8 Case. This story also talked about Bernie Guindon, Phillip Boudreault, Sonny Barger and the Outlaws MC. Continue watching as we dive deep into Lorne Campbell’s origins, a dark and bloody history spanning nearly half a century, and how he forever influenced Canada’s Outlaw biker scene.

The really scandalous thing is that the police bugged the Kitchener clubhouse of Satan's Choice, knew that David Hoffman was there on the night of October 18th 1978 and charged him anyhow. Needless to say Hoffman"s lawyer was denied access to that evidence at the trial. Hoffman served 4 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Mr. Hoffman was the treasurer of Satan's Choice Kitchener chapter. He may have been guilty of other crimes, but not Matiyek's murder.

Growing up in Ottawa my father taught many of the choice members. When I heard about Billy Deave was killed in his house blown up when he wanted out along with some as well, wanted out. They did not want to patch over and just wanted a normal life. I cried like a baby. I use to call im the little man as a joke. Even tho he was a huge man about 6'4 or 6'5 about 260lbs plus of solid musscles he was a very much of a gentlemen, caring, easy to talk to. As a kid, Billy was like another father to me. Still to this day some say it was the police, bikers which one know idea to this day. If anyone knew Billy I would love to know the truth. God bless and thank you.

Growing up with Vagabond and Choice members around the east end and knowing a few along lifes path I can say with experience that drugs ruined a lot of us and the original club vibe. It took over all the clubs and the fun was no longer fun. Seeing the photo of John Foote brought a tear. He saved my life once. To end on a lighter note I needed a ride one day to see John at the red castles on Markam Rd. Those that know know. All I could borrow was a 350 Honda and when I pulled into the parking lot there's John and who I knew as Wayne laughing at my me. John asked if I could do wheelies and I said I've only ridden a bike twice before how do you do it? John got on and pulled a couple off eventually and "Wayne" was laughing so hard. I was embarrased of course wishing my car wasnt broke down so when John said your turn to Wayne he said I dont need lessons this little guy does. Me. I fell off twice before getting it up for a short one. By this time there's a few members on a balcony also enjoying the freak show. I had to buy the bike I borrowed when I returned it all wrinkled up bent. Wayne was Lorne. Cheers 🇨🇦

Agreed man. Grew up in the East End as well ( Coxwell and Gerrard and then Main and Danny) and things WERE definately different in the late 70's early 80's when the PDR (and BDR!) Vags and S.C were on the scene. Became less about the camaraderie, the party and the ride and more about "What can you DO for the Club" unfortunately. Different era I guess. Cheers man.

Wow, that 'Cobourg Training School' made me think of a Youth Offender Jail I went to back in the 2000's, (*bc it was in a town called Cobourg Ontario); it was called 'Brookside'. So I paused the video & looked it up, and apparently they're the same place. These brutal "training schools" were eventually condemned by society for what they were, and SUPPOSEDLY shut down, (*Cobourg being closed in 1984... or so they claimed). In 1985 they opened 'Brookside Youth Center' in the same location, and it became a secure custody & detention center for young offenders, (*also adult offenders who's crime happened before they turned 18, even tho they could be there for up to 4-5 years, meaning 16yr olds were locked up with early-mid 20's year olds, despite that being against the rules meant to protect young offenders, who are after all still kids... but we won't go too deep into that rn 😆). Did the brutal conditions and abuses on the kids by a sick sadistic savage twisted "staff" (*they're literal prison guards btw, but they call them "staff" in Y.O. 😆), end up STOPPING when they supposedly closed the training school then reopened it immediately as a child-prison?? 🤣 No it did not. In fact, when I paused the video and started looking at pics of Brookside on Google, (*I hadn't yet seen the part where it describes Lorne Campbell being abused & traumatized there, btw); all these crazy memories just started coming back to me all of a sudden... especially of grown ass men, (*guards/staff), going in kid's cells and beating the living shit out of them, like for a LONG time, kid no longer struggling, still going.. fkd up shit... so that every kid in the unit in every cell could hear every sound, through the long, otherwise silent corridors, and nobody can do anything to stop it or help them or fight back... act hard and it's just YOUR cell-door that cracks next.. all bc a kid called a guard a "GOOF" or some shit or challenged them in some insignificant way... and alot of the inmates were just a flip-side to that coin of open but never acknowledged systematic abuse, violence, hostility, and exploitation of anyone weaker than anyone else... and the "staff" would show favor and support the most abusive and dominant of the inmates and vice versa. I remember this distinctly being the first place I ever went that was basically like actual prison... but for youths. It was like a Mashup between every prison movie ever, and that old 'Bad Boys' movie with Sean Penn from the 1980's 😆, (*not the Will Smith 'Bad Boys' which bares no resemblance to ANY place in ANY reality 😂) It was still a horrifying, abuser-infested, traumatic shit-hole of a kid-prison, where everything wrong that could happen not only did, but went completely unchecked on all levels, in the 2000's... that I can attest to personally 💯 Now they've apparently closed down Brookside, (*not bc they admit anything wrong about it, bc there's just less Youth Offenders to go around these days smdh 😑); ...and in 2021 or 2022 they shipped off all the inmates to "other facilities" (*aka kid-super-jails I'm assuming 😆). I say AWESOME! Fuck that place and every MF who ever worked there, straight TF up. Fuck anyone who even signed off on that place. That being said, I feel like they just switch & move things around, shuffle the deck a bit, then continue. I feel like this is no different than 1984 (*interesting year for it to have been haha), when they closed it down then just reopened it under a different name; and the kids who would've went to Brookside will just go somewhere same or worse. But yeah, fuck that place. 💯 Now back to this video about a ln outlaw biker! 😁 Cheers y'all! 🍻 ✌️😎 🔹️🔷️CYRUS🔷️🔹️

I'm from Peterborough. My Dad worked at GM in Oshawa, and knew a ton of choice from both Oshawa and Peterborough. When he got married to my stepmother, our front lawn was full of bikes. Good old days.
