Jack wins easy though. Jack is a great swordsman who could beat Davy Jones, barbosa and will turner . Hook gets one sided by a 10 year old(yes Pan can fly and is a great swordsman) but still. But it would be interesting . Jas hook is obsessed with good form and being a good man but deep down is a bad man. Where’s jack is a pirate at heart, cheats, lies, whores, drinks etc. but deep down is a good man though he believes himself to be a bad man.
@charliedallachie35393 жыл бұрын

Greatly enjoyed Robin Williams as Peter Pan and Dante Basco as Wild Jungle Summer Prince Zuk- I mean, Rufio, but the one who really stole the show was Dustin Hoffman as the titular charcter! This role/performance is right up there on my personal list of best baddies, along with Robert Patrick's T-1000, James Earl Jones's Darth Vader ('s voice), and Christopher Lee's Saruman.

No one can pull off the withdrawn horror like Spielberg. Keep in mind this is almost 40 minutes into the movie. The buildup to Hook’s onscreen presence is nothing but fear and anticipation to the man, himself. That final shot of the hook placed on him is the final nail on the coffin. Culminating in his entrance. Spielberg made Hook a horror movie villain with the buildup. And it’s perfect.

:02-:05, When I first saw this 30 some years ago, I remember feeling horrible for the poor little boy standing by the hook sharpener. At first I thought it was Jack. In hindsight, (after learning about hollywood's big secret, and what Isaac Kappy revealed about Spielberg), I realize the creepy moment was deliberate: briefly showing a miserable and helpless little kid captive to all those pirates. I don't believe they ever show him getting rescued....:-/ While I loved this movie, between the weirdness of JM Barrie, the bizarre original stories, and fake hollywood, it's a much less happy-go-lucky film to me.

If you like the story from Peter Pan as it is don't read any further. Did you know Peter Pan was the bad guy in the original story. He would fly out of Neverland to convince children to go with him and never grow up. They actually never did because Pan would kill them and feed them to the crocodiles. Hook is one of the children that escaped Pan's tiranny and managed to grow up and as an adult trying to find a way out of Neverland.
