HOOKED INTO SOMETHING BIG! (Most DANGEROUS Fish I've Caught)

DISCLAIMER - The Hooks used are made with HIGH Carbon Steel. They Rust/Deteriorate out of the Sharks mouth quicker than any Saltwater hooks. This trip was guided by a Certified Shark Tagging expert from NOAA & BT WAVES. The goal is to put less stress on the fish while trying to release it, compared to tying a rope to it's tail, which could result in severe physical damage to the shark. Making sure the fish stays in the water is key. DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT SUPERVISION.
HOOKED INTO SOMETHING BIG is definitely an understatement. I never thought I could truly appreciate shark fishing until now. There is not greater feeling than hand feeding a 10ft+ fish a hunk of meat and waiting for the battle to ensue. POWER, is all i can say.

Can you try Strike King KVD Ocho Worm 5” ‘Bubble Gum’ when you get back into fishing Bass, And I recommend saltwater Powerbaits; especially The Shrimp, there’s Nuclear Shrimp (that’s the color) it’s basically Green and Red but it sure gets pieces bitten off by a fish cause they like em.

@Resist Reality Yeah man really pisses me off. The fact he says they are using High carbon steel......... look up corrosion tests on them.... they take weeks before they are rusty, Not fully rusted. There is a difference between a hook fully rusting to the point it dissolves and when it weakens. Sadly those sharks will be swimming around with hooks in the backs of their mouths for weeks if not a month. TO ADD ON TO THIS: there is no reason why you wouldn't use barbless hooks. It really pisses me off, i was always taught if you cant unhook it dont fish for it

JB thanks for taking us all along on your adventures. Saltwater is definitely a lot different then fishing🐟 freshwater. Even though there are some monster freshwater fish like the alligator gars in Texas that are boy Bubba catches. It was nice to see you try something different. You need to hit up the Gulf of Mexico or the Pacific for some Marlin, Swordfish or Sailfish. But any big game fish regardless of what waters you're catching them in you can always put a notch in your rod for it. May God bless you 🙏 and have a safe trip on the Atlantic coast.
