I absolutely love it when Larry goes to Z Car Garage. The cars are always so well done without being over the top. You can really see the passion those guys have for Datsuns. Their attention to detail is outstanding!

This man Rob is an absolute gem. It's so incredibly entertaining and satisfying to see these personalities walking around the car and just moving from piece to piece... everything has been thought of and considered, and it's remarkable. Congratulations on the amazing restoration here, that car is going to be a blast and we all know Larry will be talking plenty more about it.

I have been a customer of z car garage for almost 10 years. Rob is the greatest guy to work with, I felt like he knew me and what I wanted from my cars everytime. He has been not telling the customer Dyno numbers for years and the first thing he does when you come to pick up your car is, washes it, warms it up and has it waiting for you in front ready to go. You walk in he hands you the keys and tells you to drive the car and I came back with a smile on my face every single time. The best shop I have ever worked with by a long shot. Don't forget Rob is just a mastermind a lot of the miracles come from the guys he works with who are top notch. Thank you Rob Fuller.

Man this dude is a forever legend. The joy he gets of making other people happy in the cars that he loves so they can share the same excitment is nuts. Thorough with words thorough with his work which in the end equals a phenominal product. I don't even own a Z and I'd love for this guy to wrench on my car or just listen to him talk or watch him go through stuff to see his thought process. Genuiene guy. Top notch.

Rob is an absolute legend! I work for a tow company and have been towing cars for him for almost 10 years. The day I met him, I could really see the passion and care he takes in every car he touches. Always great to see Rob and Z-car garage on the channel.

You can hear it! He tuned it, matched the turbo, matched the cooling and everything so that the response is so close to mimicking the naturally-aspirated engine. The torque comes on smooth, the power comes on smooth - it doesn't seem like it's spooling to boost, it sounds like it is boosting along the curve. Pay the man, Larry!

I'm so impressed with this build. Rob is a master craftsman! Love all the attention to detail, and focus on build quality and balance. Any garage can bolt performance parts together, but having everything working in harmony to create a higher experience... That's something else. Also, it's refreshing to see Rob's passion & pride in his work, clear as day. We need more auto craftsmen operating at this level!

Wow ,wow, wow a smorgasbord of "ORANGE Bang " since I first say Larry Chen as Speed Hunter, than found out he had a Z! And watching for years to catch details about the Z.. Anybody with a Z, as passionate as Larry has always been about his Z. Larry deserves the ,Z GURU of California's touch. Larry finally has the BANG to Match his Orange Z ! Epic WAIT but sooooo Worth the wait for this video! Great job Z CAR GARAGE the crew poured their heart into the fine tune and finish of a very kick ass car , the Datsun Z. This Orange Bang is "RIPE!"

I am deffently q huge fan of Larry Chen! After seeing him react too his own car an all the things zcar garage changed on it an did too it . I am deffently now a huge fan of zcar garage too. The smile 9n Larry's face says more than any reaction that was voiced during the vid. If not for folks like Larry Chen we the car peeps would be left in a void of nothing to feed or need for our passion. If I ever happen to be around some one looking for this level of work than I'll send them yalls way. Great thing is I could see all those little things adding up to a big change which means a big deal of extra power. I am so jelly @-@ .

I remember seeing this car as a teenager when it was first featured on Speedhunters back in 2013. Seeing it as a stock car to what it is now is mind blowing. I love this Datsun, and it always makes me want to pick one up if I could ever find a clean one in my area. This set the love back for the 240z, thanks Larry!

Awesome build, this car brings back many memories, my friend had a new 71 in 71 and it was Burnt Orange, we beat the shit out of it and did many road trips, I had a 72 510 that I put 178,000 miles on it before it sucked a valve. I’m a Fiesta ST guy on a stage two Cobb tune, short shift kit, 3” exhaust and sticky Mitchlen tires. It’s a 2014 and has 98,000 miles on it, I’m on my 6th set of tires, I’m 73 years young and love driving on three wheels. Never sale that Z, you’ll regret it if you do. The Fiesta Flash. 🤙🏼🍺🍺🍺

It is Dec 7 2021. I have watched this video 7 times if not 9 times. Larry says "I can't stop smiling" every stock S30 ,will make your jaw sore from smiling, that is the essence of S30 Life ! I'm glad Larry , finally got to completely be ,Engaged with his Z. Then ROB is the enthusiast for enthusiast's. Between the great mechanical upgrades and tweek's, Rob's enthusiasm, and Larry's shocking excitement and disbelief. This is my all time favorite, Z video. And I watch ton's of S30 and sports car vids. And I know it won't be my last, time enjoying this video! I must say Larry needs an up date video of Orange Bang ,and another S30. On some kiñd of Outing, Shoot, video.i want to see another Video of Larry just more of Orange Bang !

I am amazed at the work you have done to his car. I use to own a 1973 240z blue with black and white interior! It was first car after high school, and bought it in 1975 and had it until 1980. It was a fun car. Now, my wish is to get a Z but I would like to make some changes to it for a more modern driving car. I may come to visit your shop to get some ideas on what to look for a base Z to start with. Kudos guys!

One of the very first cars I can remember riding in as a kid was my mom's Orange tart colored 74 240. Your Z and the color brings back memories of me at 2-3 yrs old, where I probably didn't have proper seating in this car at that age, but hey it was the 80's, many safety laws have changed since then lol.
