In today's video, we breakdown the coverages and techniques to defending the Pick & Roll. There are many different ways to defend the PnR/PnP etc... With today's NBA becoming more guard oriented it's tougher to guard than ever before.

Somebody should send this video to shaq asap Great breakdown on the different type of coverages...starting to see alot of defenses go to a 2-3 zone now, seems counterintuitive but if u got the personnel on the same page can be quite stifling for perimeter oriented offenses

Drop coverage is actually pretty good when done properly. The bucks defense in 2019-20 was historic by playing the deep drop but it relied on high energy high iq team defensive guards, one of the reasons I think the bucks regressed. They traded Eric for Jrue and Jrue is a great individual defender but not a great team defender

A lot of players play way to deep on drop. Get up with the screen get an arm bar on him so you can hedge the shooter and still recover to the screener.

The Korkmaz exemple is bad bad bad but for the fact that they try a hedge and show in pnr position that is useless away from 3 points. In this case the defendere on the ball should just go under
