It is always good to see the veteran players embrace a young guy like this. Usually good things follow... Depth of teams is really important in today's game as injuries happen and team is top heavy with them. He could reignite the fire again...

Trace Jackson Davis is the real deal. The Warriors were always most dominating when they had either Andrew Bogut or Kevin Durant in the front court. Trace Jackson Davis could be the missing link needed for a fifth NBA title.

Kuminga and Moody got drafted together on the same day in the Warriors, and then here comes TJD and Brandin, who also got drafted together on the same day. These four are just amazing. I still remember when JK and Moody were still rookies. They are exceptionally amazing and contributed to the GSW 2022 championship. TJD and Brandin have a big future ahead; for sure, they don't play like rookies. One thing great about the GSW organization is that they know how to develop their rookies or players.

Kuminga, Moody, Brandin are good players but they are not the core of a championship team. History has shown us time and again that you need one or two transcending players. Lebron, Curry, Jokic, Nowitzki, Wade, Kobe, Shaq, Kawhi, Duncan, Antetokounmpo. Those three are not in that category and in all likelihood never will be. Unless you find somewhere a player of that calibre those three might get you into the playoffs. But that's is.
@crypticlady5047
@crypticlady5047 3 ай бұрын
@@omnivorous65 You don't know that. Nobody expected that Curry would become one of the best players in the NBA. GSW was planning to trade him before because he always got injured. He was the underdog. People are not showing interest in him because he was just this small dude, but look at him now. You will never know what will happen in the future.
@omnivorous65
@omnivorous65 3 ай бұрын
No, of course I don't know that. It is all necessarily projection. But... I have probability on my side. These transcending players are exceedingly rare. It is always safe to bet against the likelihood of someone turning into a championship calibre players. @@crypticlady5047

Podz ceiling is Steve Nash. A lot of people said i was crazy to compare Podz to Steve Nash, but they are both about 6"4' PG from Santa Clara U. who shot over 40% from three in college. I'm not predicting he will be a 2 time MVP like Nash, but he has all the tools Nash did at this same point in their careers.

What were Nash's rookie numbers, by the way? What comps was he getting? What plaudits did he earn the first couple years in the league. I bet if you went back in time and told whichever team drafted Nash that he would be a two-time MVP, 50 40 90 number, and HoFer, you would have been asked whether you were snorting or smoking. Is Podz going to be as good as Nash? Who knows? But all the intangible, all the bbiq, all the high energy hustle, and the shocking numbers he's put up as a rookie on a (theoretically) championship aspiring Warriors team with a notoriously rookie shy coach I don't think anybody can be 100% certain of this kids feeling yet. He's already snatched that starting spot from wigs, hasn't he? At least for now ... I pray wig gets back to 2021 level, but I also pray coach Kerr has the sense God gave up papaya to realize we need the four young guys to bring combos of crazy energy, intensity, passion, IQ, and skills the team surely needs.

Podz may not have the pure shooting potential of the Splash Bros, nor the handles of Steph, but he's miles ahead of playing in Kerr's system than Poole ever was and is a much better defender than the Splash Faux. TJD might not have the physical gifts that Wiseman did, but he already looks way more comfortable in half a season than Wiseman ever did. The Warriors found 2 gems in this draft.

Hasn’t most of their roster that made an impact for the last like 10 years been mostly picks? Besides wiggins lmao I could be wrong but pretty much every year when part of the core starts slumping a bit or draymond gets his annual suspension some random bench player or 1st round pick will just explode. Everyone does this, making out rookies as the next incarnation to take over Steph... but lets face it Steph is still around and barring any injury will still be around in another three years, lets hope the young rookies dont let their exposure in the media as the next... next whatever go to their heads and then the warriors create another bloat headed JP. Lets call them a good solid addition to the core and then start evaluations after their third year... if the coaching staff continues to play them, they may indeed be the future when the core trio finally hang their laces. Excellent vid as always hoops, lets hope the warriors keep moving forward with their new found winning ways. 😊
