The rules these days in the NBA allow more possessions and more scoring. (FYI the 14 second rule change after offensive rebound, tape fouls, soft defenses etc etc)

I'm a Pacers fan and this season has had me more hyped than when we had Oladipo. I haven't felt excitement from watching the Pacers like this since the Paul George days. We are here to stay and at this point, they are more entertaining to watch than the warriors. Steph is my favorite player in the NBA, but Klay and Dray suck this year, and while they choke last second games, the Pacers are beating the "best teams" in the eastern conference. Pacers are officially contenders, and the NBA better be watching out, because we have a storm brewing for the NBA!

As a warriors fan I’m really happy for the Pacers and their fans. I just hope they continue to build around him the right way. As for us warriors fans it’s gonna be at least 2 years before we’re even competitive again.

@NightTurtle-mt2xt Hey don't get your hopes down. Warriors are one trade away from being in title contention. They just need to trade Klay and get someone like OG. Once they have that wing defense, then trade Kuminga and Looney for someone like Mitchell Robinson and they are easily a title favorite
@djdoc06

@@NightTurtle-mt2xtwould not give up so easy. They’ll be much better by the halfway point, and with a good trade, can be in contention.

You have no handles and therefore think anytime someone uses a gather step it’s a travel. Casual ass NBA fans like you are annoying, you probably say shit like “college basketball is better because the players play harder” or some lame tone deaf shit like that. Tyrese Halliburton is the most all around PG in the league rn and this year IS the BEST PG in the nba this year. Shit he pretty much was last year. Praise be to Hali!

Haliburton is pretty much a less flashy/exciting player than LaMelo, in my opinion. They both like to play fast, shoot the three, and dish out assists. The Pacers just have more consistent overall players, which leads to Hali's higher assist numbers. Besides having the better team, Haliburton does have the higher shooting percentages. Despite the higher clip, they were neck and neck in PPG pre Melo injury. Anyways, a fully healthy Hornets roster might have the odds of becoming the better team in the future. Only time will tell. The Hornets have yet to play with everyone available this season which isn't new unfortunately 😅 Both great players, but I'd still rather watch Melo over Hali games. I just believe Haliburton is in a better overall environment.

@PrettyNeal Average NBA Height according to HomeSchoolHoop for this season, the Lakers are only 0.2 inches taller than the Bucks. Celtics have way more "size" than the Lakers too. Celtics were missing Porzingis vs the Pacers but they still had to face Giannis, Brook, and Portis. Pacers just sucked vs the Lakers that day and couldn't land shots.

"NBA's. greatest defenses"! Saying that in 2024 is just hilarious!! This league has no clue what great defense is anymore and hasnt for a long time. Im surprised a team isnt avg 130 by now tbh. This generation had never seen an all time great defense and has no idea what ut looks like. After growing up in the 80s and 90s i dont even call it defense anymore. More like a temporary impedance before just standing and observing ever increasingly ridiculous longer and longer range shot attempts. LMAO. Another couple seasons they won't even be getting off the bench to shoot anymore. 😂
