You might possibly have a blockage in the sump hose, The black hose leading from the drum to the pump housing

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 sump hose I can see all the way through. They grey hose I can blow air easily through that. I have recently had machine on its side to replace the dampers because I believed my drum had dropped but seems it hasn't.

@@SmartGadgetShow hmm That is a bit unusual. Possibly a faulty pump. If you put the machine on let’s say a 40 degree cotton and you leave the drum fill with a couple of inches of water. Then turn the machine off. Turn it back on and select spin Cycle , Is the water leaving the drum when you look in?

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 if the pump has the impeller, switched to drain, it says 10 mins, I press start it spins, then a few seconds later E20 error and stops.

@@SmartGadgetShow if all hoses are clear then it sounds to me like the pump may need replacing.

I've now done the board reset by holding first option down, pressed start and it now spins and Doing some kind of wash but all lights are stuck on. I turned off and back on and now it's all working like new.

@@SmartGadgetShow unfortunately It’s hard to diagnose without actually seeing the Machine. Perhaps some water got on the PCB board when you put the machine on its side. Here is something you could try. (Plug out the machine, take off the top and with a hairdryer dry in where the electrical components are. Sometimes there is a PCB at the back of the machine at the bottom. If there is give this a dry with the hairdryer too and try the machine again. Let me know how you get on. - Ps just because the pump propeller is turning doesn’t mean the pump is not faulty. 👍

Hi Graham. The next step I would try is the pump, They are not that expensive - If in Ireland I could post you one. If the pump doesn’t sort into would be suspecting the PCB after that

Hey, It could also be that you have a faulty pump that needs replacing. Possibly

Screw it anticlockwise as much as you can and try prise it out with a flat head screwdriver, be careful not to do do any damage

There is a clip holding it in place. Remove that

It could be that something is blocking the grey drain hose too. When you put the machine on a spin and drain cycle can you hear any noise coming from where the pump is located??

@@walterholleran840 Thanks. With the machine turned off if you turn the pump with a flat head screw driver or a even a pen, does it ping every quarter turn. You will know what I mean when you try.

@@walterholleran840 hmm it is a funny one. That is what it is supposed to do unless the main components of the pump have packed in. If you turn on a Wash with no clothes in the machine, wait for the drum to fill a couple of inches of water. Turn the machine to off. Put the machine back on a spin and drain and watch to see if any of the water is leaving the machine. If not, and this would be very messy, but if possible if none of the water drains out you could open the filter and see does the water flow out at a rapid rate. Again he advised this would be Very messy. If it comes out at a fast rate you know it is either a faulty pump or a blocked drain hose. ** On a side note, did you take the sump hose off where it connects to the drum? (2:55 in the video) If you haven’t done this yet I’d try that before any of the above. Sometimes things like socks can get lodged in there. Worth checking that out first.

Oh no 🤦‍♂️ There may be sometime in there blocking it From coming out. Can you get a screwdriver in behind the white part and gently prise out towards you

Just try a new program. The error should clear once the issue was resolved

The filter ? Chances are there is an object stopping it turning any further. Could you get a grips / Pliers to it to give you the extra bit of pressure. Be firm but careful and with patience it will come out. 👍

Might be a pump issue then. It may need to be replaced. Best get on to an engineer

Did you try the Sump hose shown in the video (The black hose)

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 I removed the pump and all of the pipes and cleaned them. It is definitely pumping.

Hmm that is an odd one. Did you take the black dump hose off where it joins the drum and check there (both the top of the dump hose and where it joins the drum

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 Yes. I removed the entire drainage system and cleaned it. When I start a cycle it does the drain thing before the cycle.

Can I ask what was cause of the issue in the end?
