Now that’s a controversial question because people feel passionately about which is better. It’s like Apple V Android 🤣🤣🤣. All I’m gonna say is I use my VAX upright for carpets as it’s quick, wasy, does an amazing job ind extracts so much water from the carpets. My George is not good on carpets because there in no agitation and carpets left wetter that my VAX. But nothing, absolutely nothing I’ve used on upholstery is as good as George.

I’ve tried this many times and I prefer a machine with agitation.

Have you tried the hard floor brush to agitate the carpet? So much easier. You don't need to put much effort in (or the carpet would be wrecked) but makes it 100 times easier. I got my filthy hall carpet clean first go, and the amount of grit that came out was unreal. A lot less effort than trying to use the fishtail (just used it for extraction). Mine's a Henry Wash not a George and my stair carpet is worn out but it's now clean and stain free and will do for now.

vac master6131 well, apparently that’s how they do perform, but compared to using my VAX carpet washer, I’m like, what? Really? It’s such hard work and yes the water goes through the motor, really? I was shocked.

HooverLux my charles has never spat water out the motor ever but i think you have a cursed george hahaha i do agree it will be hard work cause theres no agitation i have a vax rapide ultra and water sprays out the motor and the seal for the water tube thats used for the stairs sprays water to so i was thinking about a henry wash a george or a vax 6131 for the car

I think this would be best on upholstery and cars, I will be doing a demo on that in warmer weather 😍😍😍😍

I can suggest slightly tugging on the pipe to try and stretch it, but you should contact Numatic as their customer service is fab.

I’m afraid I don’t use my Kirby’s for carpet shampooing. The results are disappointing and the water can damage the machines. The main repairs I’ve had to do to nearly all my Kirby’s are water damage. I will stick with the Bissell’s , VAX and Numatic George to do the floor washing.

I was using it wrong and shouldn’t have been using it to scrub, I don’t like these for carpet cleaning unless it’s one of those industrial steam cleaners, but on upholstery it’s incredible.

Nah, he sent that one back and got another one. This was brand new as every tag and thing was definitely unused.

I thought i saw one of the shiny metal extensions had a small dent in it, i remember another unboxing by i thought was ibaisaic, with the same dent, oh well my mistake, sorry about that, i am watching too many of these numatic george videos, i got one a few weeks ago, and with the aero brush it really hoovers carpets well, will wait for the summer to try out the shampooing part. I may need a few months of working out to get my body fit for such an arduous task, i wish numatic would make a new attachment head for shampooing the carpet with brushes like your vax. From your video it does a fantastic job.

I remember the box when it arrived was direct from Amazon and was sent to my work address, so definitely from Amazon. I know the feeling 😂😂😂, I watch loads too. I will be doing another vid with a different technique, which should be better and easier

It’s definitely not as easy on carpets as an upright carpet washer and that’s a fact, it’s brilliant on Tiles and hard floors and will be fantastic on upholstery, but as for carpets I will stick with my VAX Dual V. The pole doesn’t bother me tbh and I could call Numatic, but for a dent that causes no issues, it’s fine. I’m positive Numatic would just send out a new pole, but it’s fine. Fantastic as a straight vac yes. I’m very please with it and will do many other demos with it.
