Not at all. I mean maybe the word has changed it's meaning over time or whatever but when I say mainstream, I'm more referring to just being more common. The subject matter is more relatable to everyone, but it almost comes of as shallow in that regard. I love Hopsin because he talks about himself, his problems and how HE particularity something. He was, in my opinion, much more of someone that "moves to the drum of their own beat." That made him unique, stand-out and ultimately make him the man and rapper we know him as today.
