I dont think its cringe at all. All i hear is passion and raw emotions. Reminds me of hardcore music. I think if you listen to only one type of music (rap/hip hop) only then, you might see this as cringe since you are so use to hearing the same appraoch/recipe which is focused on beat and bars. This to me is art. Beat, bars, and story telling. not cringe at all for me. its great.

Hopsin is one of the dopest rappers alive this song spoke to me in so many ways he's underrated as hell in my opinion.

The only thing “cringey” about this video is how Ryan and George reacted.. Hopsin didn’t make this song to be pleasing to your ears necessarily.. he wrote it for himself. You can hear the passion in his voice. This was him venting his frustration about religion and brought up some very solid points. Ryan’s argument about it being an “incomplete” song is total BS. You can visibly tell how uncomfortable he is during the entirety of the video. Soooo biased. So much for “free thinkers” lol. When I first heard this song I was actually at a crossroads myself. I was brought up Christian and never really questioned it until I was out on my own. I started studying physics and astronomy. (Learning about the cosmos is a very humbling field of study) My biggest question was “why did God create this mind-bogglingly vast universe for humans and humans only?” Plus the study of evolution is getting to the point where it’s virtually impossible to argue against it without being in complete denial. There’s just so many contradictions and utterly wrong statements in the Bible that churches skip over only to cherry-pick the verses that apply to their itinerary. That get you to throw your hard earned money into the offering tray that in turn pay off the preacher’s mortgage. When I heard this song it hit home to me because I was struggling with the same situation. One of my favorite songs of all time for that very reason.

George is the epitome of cringe. I feel like the dude is trying too hard to be unbiased by being impossible to please. Questioning Hopsin's artistic nature because of him yelling at the end?? Really?? His music is raw and 100% true to his emotions. Maybe his depth of artistry is just over your head.

Guys, I recently started following you and watching your reactions. I have to say that i'm also one of those people who didn't know shit about Hopsin until em gave him the shoutout. I keep seeing a lot of people saying hes cringy and corny, but i strongly disagree. I think him being passionate and emotional in his music gives him an edge over a lot of other rappers, he puts emotion into it and it makes it so much more real and powerful to listen to. At the end when he was yelling "im done!", i really felt it, it almost brought tears to my eyes, cuz i've been in and out of Christianity for years, I have been re-baptized lately, and left church again for personal reasons, we all have these same questions and I think the way he articulated it into a song is genius, no one can take that away form him.

He was just showing how passionate he feels about the subject I'm a Christian and I totally understand what he is saying I feel hard for him and he is on a journey to find God and that's the journey he took us on.

I agree, he is speaking real deep. Something you can hear & he is making a message on what he feels. Not like these others who you can rap the same thing and make a video. He is speaking and having people think. I like the beat as well, you don't have to agree with what he is saying but I do respect & try to listen to different stuff! This is not something I would play over & over but what he is saying is apart of life we all ask who are we & what exist! I like that but not the song, I do like what he said because yes we all think that & ask our selves!

Hopsin is like a motivational speaker set to rap. His songs are thought provoking and probably mind changing. He could change the world as an activist

Hopsin started out his career as a young actor so he likes performing arts in all forms and directs his own films to his music and brings out the performing arts side in that. He is a very talented individual that mixes, masters and creates his own beats and is a phenomenally versatile rapper with a combination of intellectual thought provoking lyricism and can even do mainstream trap music type stuff.
