This system feels alot like my old elementary school which was Simplex 4904s in the hallways and Gentex signals in the classrooms

I also have Gentex SHG in my school. In my old school, I was gonna name that fire alarm an SHG (second generation), but instead, because of that horn that was shiny, it looked like it was electromechanical. So it was a Gentex GMS (first generation). I even had a Gentex Commander 3 in my school. But the fire panel was a little bit faulty and went of sometime.

I love the System! My old middle School had old Space Age Electronics as well as Modern Wheelock, System Sensor and Gentex replacements and the Space Age alarms had this weird slower code 3.

Wow, that's a pretty unique setup - A 4100 classic (without the Priority 2 alarm feature), and a mixture of SHG's and -9219's!

There’s a chance it could be a very early model 4100+. The gentex SHGs seem to be the original horn strobes and they appear to be 1st generation models which were released originally in 1992 (I believe, could be earlier 3:58 ). The 4100+ was originally released in late 1991 to replace the classic so there’s a chance it is a 4100+

You know, I actually did make a Roblox place that has Truealerts, paired with these 1st Gen SHG's. except it's just the Truealerts and the SHG's and they were running on a 4100ES.

There's a good chance that the TrueAlerts are possibly 9425 or 9427

Why aren't the hallway doors and gynasium doors closing upon activation of the alarm? They're supposed to do that. You might want to tell administration to have that checked out right away!

Was there a temporal horn going off outside the building too? If yes, what kind? I’m just curious. My high school used the EST Integrity Temporal Horn in Code 3 outside the classrooms.

I'm guessing the Gentex SHGs replaced some of the Simplex mechanical horns when they died?

The SHGs are the original alarms. The 4903s were added later

@@rock-afire-fan they’re not replacements lmao. Looks like an add on. Besides, the mechanical horns are newer in this case so a replacement like this would still be possible. The SHGs are 1st gen’s from 1992 and those 9219s weren’t released until 95
