does the charger except the xt60? I'm able to charge my spectrum batteries via an xt60 plug to my venom quad charger, considered getting this charger but wanted to verify it would charge my other batteries without having an adapter. Thank you

Yes it will with adapter but pointless as this unit works best with smart batteries. I recommend the GT power X2 charger.. it comes set up for XT60 And uses Bluetooth with a app with lots of options

Will this charge traxxas batteries safely? The traxxas batteries don't have the balance port so I'm not sure if it would work even with an adapter to plug it in.

No you’ll need the Traxxas ID charger for that

Can you use this charger with any most name brand batteries. Powerhobby batteries for example

Yes. It still has a port for balancing leads. And it does all different types of chemistry.

Hi Need your help I have smart charger s2100 and batteries 4s 5000mAh 14.8v 100c 6-8 times were charged perfectly, no problem at all, and than with no reason stopping. Do everything like you instructed on this video however no success. Doesn’t change itself, when I do it manually, go to “start” its always says that “No Balance Lead Detected, Insert Balance Lead” and two options: ✔️ Continue without Balancing Which I press and nothing happens And Cancel What I do wrong? Very thank you for help Vasyliy

Really!? Call customer support they’ll fix ya up. Also, if you are plugged in the balance connecter with a non-smart battery. You will have to manually start the charge.

Yes depending on your chargers capabilities. No need for balance lead when charging nhmn

Pretty smart until a battery goes and burns your house down. 12A for a 3s 5000mah it tried for me. I ended up changing it and didn't let it exceed 5A. Might just be me but I value my belongings.

Just bought same charger and a new Spektrum battery and when I plugged it and it did it’s thing it shot up to 12amp also, quickly lowered it to 5a

Good charger, but absolute garbage batteries, ive had 5 of the drop a cell (bad cell). They were less than a year old. Charger is still going strong though.
