Jason, I just wanted to thank you for ALL the great and informational videos. I was rearranging the basement plane store room last week. (of course to make room for more planes) It looked like I was the Jehovah’s Witness for E-Flite. Lots of good memories. I started out with the Apprentice S 5 years ago. Followed that up with 3 Timber UMX’s. (We have moving and attacking oak and pine trees in my part of Georgia. The first 2 UMX’es became spare parts for the 3rd UMX ) purchase. The Timber 1.5 and the Turbo Timber were huge in helping me improve in flying, but more importantly, setting up the DX8 properly and how important correct Center of Gravity can be. Both planes are now float planes as is the Apprentice. All 3 planes got a 2nd life on water. There have been some replacement props, spinners and wings and floats. None of the above planes are “Idiot-Proof”. The “Go-To Plane First on Grass” now is the Conscendo Evolution. It’s, in my opinion at my skill level is the perfect plane. Easy to fly, easy to set up, easy to recover from bad moves. Great plane to work on your rolls, loops and flying inverted. The Twin Otter has become the “Go To Plane on Floats”. It’s easy to fly and very nimble with the twin engines. And it’s nice having SAFE on both the Evolution and the Otter in case you do get into to trouble. (I’ve NEVER had to use SAFE with the Evolution. I don’t think I’ve touched the trim tabs and I’m 15+ flights in) Big thanks to Horizon Hobby/E-Flite for helping me over the past 5 years with some really good planes, instruction, and now Smart batteries and chargers.

I hope you can come up with a Kellet Y60 Autogyro for the anniversary of Patton's Desert Army 1940-1942. This aircraft filmed the tank formations and PT40 chalk bombing runs. It was based at Hemet-Ryan 4200 Walden Weaver Road Hemet California 92544 painted in olive drab and black letters.

The areo scout is awesome, However every time I try to get one it is sold out. Luckily one of our members has one. Such a great flying craft. Great for fpv as well as there is not prop in your field of view.

@horizonhobbyproducts Hey guys can you start video series on surface vehicles for newbies? Everything from explaining ESC and transmitters, receivers, gear ratios and then tag it as "Beginners" video series. When I scroll across the top of your options there is no quick tag for that type of series. There are tags for a specific models and the like but nothing tagged as for new people into the hobby. Like for instance I'm looking for information on the Spektrum DX5 Rugged binding with the Mojave 6s. Since the transmitter handles multiple vehicles I'm not sure how to go through the process or the correct binding procedure. Trying to learn if that will work with any receiver or just their brand. Thanks!

My trainers were (are) a Duet and a Champ S+. I don't understand why the Champ didn't persist in the offering.

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried to create a workable AirCoupe R C airplane? After all, the original (full sized) aircraft was supposed to have been one of the easiest airplanes to get into flying with!! One of the "claims to fame" for the aircraft was; "If you can drive a car, you can fly this airplane!" Another was that the airplane was exceedingly difficult (if not impossible) to stall. Just a thought!

I love my aeroscout. It really helped me to learn to fly and handles grass really well. Always love taking it to fly especially with the long battery life. Will it be added to real flight 9 soon?

If I install RealFlight Trainer Edition on a laptop, is there a way to see if the program will work without a controller hooked up? Thinking there may be an instructional video showing a plane flying - which would show me if the graphics all work. Thanks in advance for helping a newbie!

I purchased the Aeroscout in June as my first plane. I absolutely love it! I also purchase RF9 and did not see the Aeroscout on the plane list. Is there an update that adds it, or am I missing something?

All the great literature and products dosen't put these models in the hands of everyday folk. Let's face it, we love your stuff but we simply can't afford your products. (I own a Apprentice 1.5 STS)

@HorizonHobbyProducts I already own an Apprentice STS 1.5m. and the Spektrum DXs Transmitter. Can you clarify the following: 1) I can use my existing Spektrum DXs Transmitter with this Simulator. 2) if the full version of this simulator (Dongle?) will allow me to partner with other RC-pilots, e.g. formation flying, dogfights, etc. 3) If I can use the same Spektrum DXs Transmitter to fly other 3-D models of RC Planes. I will be thankful to your advice on the above issues.
