In the Noclip documentary on youtube recently, it mentioned that she was originally supposed to not acquire the Focus until she pulled one off the dead Eclipse solider at The Proving. One of the developers spoke up saying "you really want us to deny Aloy access to the interface for 3 + hours of the game?" LOL I am glad they ended up giving it to her as a child. I think it really fits her.

@Robert Phillips that was due to the fact that decided the tall neck were too peaceful to be harvested for sharts in my opinion it would have been cool to keep a few as sync towers and the rest lootable if not at least wondering around, also there is areas we're thunder Jaws and other robots are in the same space however they're stricted to a space large enough for them I wish they could roam freely would have been much better. And there's no explosive arrow just hard point ones.

Also was looking for the place where this battle took place and none looked identical I couldn't find it till I contacted one of the devs through Twitter and told me where it was this is just out side of mother's crown, however even the terrain was altered, so when aloy kills the jaw she then walks up a few steps and she's in front of the city which in the actual game you'd be facing just a Forrest not the city, not to mention the city on the reveal has more buildings which looks bigger which also supports my idea that the city was going to be one of the main focuses of the game till John Gonzalez came and changed the story.

Einsteinbomb Except Ne Vegas and Shadows of Mordor had terrible stories. Cinematics have nothing to do with actual gameplay, and a tech advisor just makes the game run well. John Doe I've heard mixed things about Killzone 3, but the story trailer for that game will always be one of my favorites. I actually haven't played KZ3 out of fear that it simply won't live up to that trailer. This new game by GG looks great, though. And the concept is fascinating.

And seeing it in action is AWESOME! Caught a part in the middle where you have to brand 6 archers. Think that's when the ability's unlocked, I guess. If Horizon can do a similar thing and allow us to do the same with large bots like Thunderjaws (even if it's only with certain areas or with some heavy requirements or as a post-game reward), then it will be next year's GOTY for me.

Yeah, should definitely be something you don't get early. A post-game reward or an extremely difficult and complex sidequest would work well for that sort of reward.

Yes.. it is... it forces developers to hold their product away from 2 or 3 entire markets of additional consumers. It also tells customers that the platform isn't good enough on it's own performance merits to sell on its own without having to hold certain IPs hostage. By making an exclusive, Sony is basically saying "we know you have no reason to buy our platform over the other platforms from a pure technical standpoint, so if you want to play this game you're going to have to buy a playstation."

I didn't even specify PC. This also applies to xbox, and to a lesser extent wii. Even if it is inhouse, couldn't they get more money if they sold it to more people? The people who get both an xbox and a playstation aren't the majority, and the decision to get one over the other is more likely tied to what their friends are playing and what one they already had than what exclusives the latest one has.

Right, and everyone knows that the Wii U wouldn't sell without those exclusives. The product isn't good enough on it's own. Nintendo also generally reports losing money on console sales, microsoft does as well. They could probably be better off if they stuck to making games and sold them on multiple consoles and faded out their own console. Especially since the past couple years they've been reporting financial issues.

Fauzan Nursandi Here's what also may peak your interest. The main team behind Killzone 2 is working on it (and Killzone 2 was the best in the series and did amazing), some of the world builders from CDP who did the Witcher, and the main scenarist from Fallout New Vegas is working on it.

​@@iz723 Three years ago, I mostly used the game as an evening relaxation, taking a calming walk in a beautiful world (definitely avoiding using a mount or fast travel or even running). After the comment, I've reached 1200 hours in-game, with this. As for the sequel (since then also reaching 1200 hours in the game), there are many weapons which means there are many builds that gives you many different fight styles to master, and every single fight style provides a different gaming experience. But even a simple walk in the world is calming, showing a whole different sight every time because of the combination of different time of the day and the weather system. Just mute the music, and enjoy the immersion of storms, sunsets, moonlights, dust storms. Even the machines or hostile NPCs you may encounter during the walk, are not depressing like in other games as Days Gone or RDR2 or idk, because the game's world and the lore is progressive, not depressive, and because the behavior of machines are not irritating. To be short: the games gives you many reasons to stay and doesn't give you reasons not to stay.

Galaxy Guardian It made me shed a couple tears. The music, the world, the idea, it was just beautiful. It mixes almost everything I love for games. Technology, great music, beautiful concepts like this, etc. This is officially the game that I'm more excited for than any other game coming right now.

+Ali Altaf Robots I don't think it's so simple from the way they been hyping mysteries around the story on E3. Trailer shows lost of electiricty or something.... and thats not good for robots. Robots might be just leftover technology that lose free by being unmaintained, also turning humans to iron age is fishy too and fact that they don't remember the past, like they needed to relearn to write, cave paintings also kind of hinting start from 0, Or some only babies survived and they grow up in to monkeys without parents or it might be different humans in some form.

Picco Lini Yes, ultimately all fictional storytelling requires the audience to 'suspend disbelieve' to a lesser or greater degree. This game world makes zero actual sense but does have a certain aesthetic and imaginative appeal that is hard to ignore. Wish I could afford a PS4, so will have to make do with watching other people's Let's Play vids when this finally hits the shelves.

+Picco Lini Well, Usually Blue light means Undetected, Yellow means suspicious and Red means alerted, isn't it? She clearly says that "Sorry little one, I can't let you call for help!" Means that "WATCHER" thing found out she was hiding in the bush, say with whatever technology used to identify, maybe thermal, maybe some other. Maybe that "WATCHER" thing isn't strong enough to fight on its own. Nothing is clear yet, nothing much is showed yet, Jumping on a conclusion based on trailer and calling it a f***k logic wont be right now, will it? No offence, just making my point.
