Great video, just picked one of these puppies up for 75 bucks. Getting my bushings, and working in the machine shop to make an adjustable bushing ;)

Just now saw your questions. It probably takes me about 5 minutes to make 25. As for the cost, it's right around .16 or .17, depending on the cost of the supplies. The price of lead shot has fluctuated so much these last couple of years, it's hard to lock down a solid cost. A 25lb bag of 7.5 shot used to cost around 18 or 19 bucks back in the early 2000's but now they go as high as $35!!

2 quick questions: How much time does it take you to make 25 shells when you are in your rhythm? and How much roughly dose it cost to make one shell?

Used to have one an I could load about 500 rounds in an evening used double A, an Peters black rib 12 gauge both worked well. But I liked the Peters a little better seemed to crimp better.

How do you drain the powder and shot or if you want to change a powder bushing, do you take the whole assembly off?

As with brass reloads (pistol/rifle) there are only so many cycles one can shoot-reload-shoot that brass before it cracks/deteriorates. How many cycles can you put a new shot shell through before the plastic or brass on it becomes unusable.

Do the bushings come with it?

Call Hornady's 800 number and tell them what brand of powder you have and how many ounces you want. Your powder has the info you need, so with that, Hornady will tell you which bushing you need, and you can just order over the phone the bushing. Good luck and happy reloading!!

If you look at the plunger to the left of the first station it will de-prime and re-size the brass. The reason he was not using it was if you use a breach break shotgun AND the empties were fired from it the brass does not need to be resized as it already fits the gun. It you use auto or pump they can be more finnicky on cycling reloaded ammo and in those cases brass should always be resized. On the Hornaday resizing is not part of the progressive process but rather an extra step (like prepping a wad) Note- if you pickup discarded empties at a range always resize the brass on the first reload. Hope this helps...
