Now THAT'S what I call a good supportive loving dad. I'm sure deep in his mind he wouldn't want his daughter to take away her life just because she "different." and because of bullies. Painting the house black (which it looks awesome) it's like showing his neighbor how you should support and love your children no mater their lifestyle. Gothic, nerd, gay, lesbian etc they are your children no matter what. You will go against the world for your children. This man just did and WOW.... how touchy.

That house looks great in black. One day when I'll have my own house I want it to look exactly like that.

This commercial brings a tear to my eye every time. Especially the little detail of the dad keeping a straight face when she walks up to the front porch.

As a goth, I find this is a bit cliché and over dramatic but some of it is true ; people do stare a lot... I love this commercial. Parents should always support their children in what makes them happy

Our world is primitive and I won't lie and say that I was also taught that this look is "strange" and not normative. And only recently, in the last few months, I decided to go for it and look the way I want, even though it's not dramatic either, my parents still comment on my make-up or the fact that I wear black most of the time, but this is the real me. And I don't apologize for that THAT'S A REAL FATHER RIGHT THERE.

I never got into that emo phase, but I REEEEAAALLY wanted to paint my room black, gray and red... whole family said no cause it "will be too dark", but actually they didn't want me to turn emo for some reason... It looks hella good tho and with the correct lighting, it will be awesome! Im painting my house black. PERIOD.
