@@polojosh2669Divorce shouldn't be encouraged but in situations where domestic violence and/or cheating is present, I strongly believe that it should be the only solution. And we should focus more on pre-marital counseling as well as couples therapy after marriage to prevent such situations.

My best advice to every man and woman who is watching my comment. If a woman gives you false hope and false promise you better forgive them. If a woman abuse you and have extra marital affairs you better forgive them. If a woman mentally and physically torture you you better forgive them. If a woman use you for the sake of money and property you better forgive them. If a woman cheat you and betray you for the sake of pleasure and harassment you better forgive them. Same like wise, if a man does this to a woman a woman better forgive a man. But, remember that, any kind of mental torture, physical torture, economic torture is not acceptable in the society. Moreover, we are living in a modern society where any kind of violence against humanity should be cast out and is menace to the society at large. Therefore, Repent everyone and believe in the gospel to prevent from any kind of domestic violence.

One of my neighbour keeps beating his wife making her work like a slave mistreating her . Doesn't even look after his child and pregnant wife . Just dont ! . I was so fed up and angry . That One day i reported his husband to colony STH but when they were going to come after three to four days , the situation escalated down and some of the people were saying ,he might beat his wife more if he comes to know about the report and some others called the STH and stopped them from coming . 🫥🫥🫥 He is still immature, drunkard mistreating his pregnant wife and his 3years old and 2 years old child . What to do next if i keep seeing this ? I can't just sitting down and let the situation flow . Also the women can't leave the husband because he is the only breadwinner of the family . Sometimes they fall short of rations because of the Husband's misuse due to alcohol. And she can't go back to her parents to look after their kids .

She needs a good divorce lawyer, fights for the total custody of the children and her lawyers should fight for a huge alimony, his properties or part of his businesses as well as monthly child support and lifestyle maintenance. This is also dangerous and shouldn't be taught to everyone unless and until you notice a genuine domestic abuse case. Some women frame rich men by abusing the system and law to her advantage. She targets & marries him for his money and have a kid together. Then provoke and nag him daily for all the wrong reasons and when the husband lashes out. She immediately takes a picture, records the phone calls (note : voice call records & messages are not always legit - hard evidence in court), saves, backups and screenshots the messages or a video as evidence. He loses custody of his kids, gets kicked out of his house and has to pay every month for the kids education, well being, food and for the wife to maintain her lifestyle. Easy lifetime money huh 😅 but what is life without love,? What is living for if you intend to destroy someone innocent and undeserving and chastising all because you wanted money without working for it. In their death bed, usually these kinds of people end up all alone by themselves. The kids grow up and learn the truth and hate their mummy.

Man and woman abuse is not only as you mentioned in your interview, you didn't mention one important thing that is ---- Man/Woman secretly taking loan from someone or from the Bank without any knowledge of their Husband/Wife and the interest of the loan increase day by day, At last Bank or person started sending or asking to pay back the amount from Husband/Wife which becomes serious issue among them, that's how violence/ abuse started between both of them, There's many cases that happens when it comes to domestic violence and abuses on women/ man,

True, two of my tenants separated/divorced because of that. Both husbands were in the Indian army. People never read a book, never learn anything. These older generations use phones to watch k drama, cornhub and nagamese news. Many do not have proper knowledge of personal finance. Dreams unlimited stated a nagamese channel and others followed suit. Today we have so many uneducated Nagamese channels. If the trend of using English in official and public spaces was encouraged like in the olden days. Many destructive nagamese channels won't have come into existence. The mindless consumerism culture of Naga women is on the rise. For many families, my guess is 60-70% of the families who live in both Dimapur & kohima at the same time earn a minimum of 3-4 Lakhs a month. Unlike the previous generations, it is quite normal nowadays where every single person in the family is a good income earner. Even for middle class families, so many households make over 1 lakhs a month but the money spending culture of Naga women are on another level. Even from my own family, my sister can spend 40k in a single day easily just sitting at home. No matter the income, it is very hard for nagas to save up, invest and set up a financially free and independent lifestyle. If they do not get to spend the money as they wished. They start selling their bodies even to daily wages labourers. The worst and the most destructive trend is they will hide from their partners/families and take 5-10% a month loan and ruin the family. Feminism and consumerism culture has ruined Nagaland and Nagas families. Financial literacy among both educated & uneducated Naga women and proper therapy of mindless shopping for shopaholics must be discussed in schools, Chruches, colleges, public places more openly and freely without shaming or stigmas. Thank you

@@HighLander-mp6vhYour guess is 60-70℅ of kohima and dimapur families making 3-4 lakhs a month?😂 Most stupid comment I've read this year. And taking out loans without your partners knowledge is not feminism but fraud and most of these frauds are done by men to men especially land disputes from loans. Your sister's spending is not a standard for the rest of the women in Nagaland. In most of the spaces, women are doing better. Most of the rank holders are women in schools, in competitive exams, most notable people from Nagaland are women, most influencers are women while men dominate politics and druggies, alcoholics, abusers, stealers, murderers, rapists are mostly men. These are not ruining Nagaland? Prioritizing a boys education over a girls still exist in so many villages, in divorces for whatever reason, men remarry but women are scorned. When a mother dies young, the father remarry but when a father dies young, 90% of the time, she stays unmarried forever. In middle class families,if a woman fails to get a job, she stays home or marry but a son fails to get a gov job, he starts a business with parent's assistance. A son is so cherished to the point an adopted son gets more rights to inherit than biological daughters. All these social issues and you're talking about how feminism has brought about overconsumption and is ruining Nagaland? 😂😂Overconsumption is not based on gender. "Money spending culture of Naga women on another level". Embarrassing to make baseless accusations like that. Feel bad for the women in your life. Get yourself educated before telling others. Also, most of the sex workers are from poor family, they feel like they have no choice. If you're so high and mighty, go and give them an opportunity to leave those work. I don't know, my mom makes all the rules of the house. So is the case in all my aunty and uncle's household. Only in public gatherings and occasions, Naga mothers allow the husband to appear as the head of the house. Looking from the outside-in, it does looks like a patriarchal society but it isn't actually. When we were kids and still students. My dad used to go to the office, cook and we clean the house and carry the water and all she does is nag and look & water the flowers from the water that we were forced to carry as kids at 3-4 in the morning. My uncle did the same, they cook as well as go to the office, come back from the office and start cooking while the wife is busy watching Hindi serials on tv and nowadays k drama on the phone. Mom watches Hindi serials and gives instructions and beats us if we fail to do the chores. We live in such a matriarchal society. My dad must surrender all his salary to my mom and she has never read a complete book in her entire life but still she decides where the money must go. Many nagas families do not have fathers because they were scared to even spend the money they earned on basic health check ups. We have growing numbers of widows in Nagaland. Many are falling victims to cancer and BP. Both can be prevented if regular check ups amongst the father's and husbands were encouraged. If fathers get sick. They spend 50-100 rupees in their local pharmacies and pray they get well. They visit the hospital only when they are very seriously sick and at which point some are beyond medical help. Such things aren't discussed even once publicly and I wonder what is the agenda behind it? We grew up, we all made our own living, my mom also started her business and we intervened and stopped mom from abusing us or our dad. I have never seen my dad hitting my mom but even at old age my dad has spent weeks in bed due to my mom hitting him with anything and everything if she misses her kdrama episodes because she had to lend a helping hand when she should be watching a shirtless Korean man making love with an another Korean man in the k drama. She has cooled down a lot these days only because we make more money than we could spend. If my dad was the only income earner, there is a high chance my dad won't be alive today and my mom also thinks we live in a patriarchal society. Why does the government even stop a single man from adopting or exploring the route of having kids through surrogate moms? Why are the women who live in a patriarchal society not allowing men to do that? I think movies like blade runners are sadly the future, the media will divide on the lines of race, gender, sexual orientation, creed and beliefs and the cooperation will figure out a way to monetize relationships, feelings and love through AI based humanoids. It's not even science fiction anymore because trails have already started and I hate that our childrens will have to live in that world

This is about physical abuse, please stick to the topic, if we talk about cheating, look at your own uncles and male friends, I bet there’s more husbands cheating on their wives than vice versa. So many Naga women bites their tongue and stay with cheating husbands because they have no where to go. And sorry to say, if your wife cheats on you just let her go cause she doesn’t love you anymore, beating someone doesn’t justify cheating, it’s not a crime to cheat but it’s a crime to physically assault someone. You’re just scaring and forcing her to stay in your loveless life.

Domestic violence is present in Nagaland for sure but i doubt about patriarchal society. In Naga family, mostly female are kara, most of the decision are done by woman unless in common ancestor inheritance or else even in inheritance woman gets to decide also. As regards to domestic violence, men drinks a lot and that's the problem or else rare cases to beat up woman in normal state. Now, why do men drinks? Financial or women being too kara? It's there , but both men and women are responsible . In case of men it's mostly alcohol issue, in women it could be affairs, talks a lot. Solution? Education, awareness, financial independence for both men and women, esp women. From men part: stop alcohol, education, finance.... Women: sincere in marriage, avoid crossing lines, education, financial. Where can we have all these? Govt should invest in this. In the end even the inefficient policy of the govt is indirectly responsible.

lol 😂 our state is safe??? It looks safe because our population is very less as compared to other states of India. In such a small community, rapes of minor/women, murder, thief, child abuse, is happening every month in different areas, didn’t you hear the recent case about a father rapïng his own daughter for several months and running 🏃 to Bosti after getting caught . 😂😂😂 so many molestation case goes unreported too. There’s a guy who molested little kids at my own colony but everyone kept silent because of how our society shames and hides these things. Like how you’re asking to hide things inorder to give Nagaland a clean image, so sorry, our state is long gone.

When Nagas judge the Nagas women who married Nonlocal judge them by saying don’t marry plans menu. Asking you not to marry Non Nagas. The sad reality is I have even seen my neighbor Naga's husband how much he torture Naga's wife is heartbreaking the woman just never raised her voice just because she loved him. She said her parents told done come back unless your legs were broken or her hands were broken oh really is this Naga culture? Why don’t parents ask their daughter to come back if he is tortured? Before breaking any legs or hands. But I have seen some Naga women who married Non-Local who live a good life. So Nagas are not angels 😇 everywhere there are good people or bad peoplele.
