I find it neat Hornby decided to produce a later version of LBSC Stepney with number 655 instead of its original number 55. Hornby did a great job with the LBSC Improved Engine Green and I would like to get Tooting in that livery someday.

I have DS680 (Waddon). I paid £108.95 for him. I hope to get Stepney in both LBSCR livery and BR livery, Fenchurch in BR livery, Waddon in SECR livery Portishead in GWR livery, Martello in SR livery and as preserved and Morden in LBSCR/BR livery as Brighton Works. They're brilliant models

I once put a 20 bachmann hopper cars behind my stepney I Swapped the couplers and it pulled it while straining up a small grade with a caboose

Excellent review of the Hornby A1 class Terrier Stepney Lazer 👍👍 I’m glad you have amazing little model for your train set as these models are unbelievable fantastic with excellent detail plus great performance. I meet you at Bluebell during 2023 on their branch line gala and I hope to meet you again during their event again soon as they got not one, but two Great Western Railway locomotives to visit. It is a real shame that you haven’t got Bluebell the South Eastern & Chatham Railway P Class which would be great for you having a mini Bluebell Railway as Hatton’s is now closing down 😢

Fun fact: britt allcroft the woman that made Thomas and friends possible almost sued the bluebell railway because she thought the character of stepney came first and of course ultimately lost that lawsuit

Oliver that isn’t an A1X, the A1X’s are the rebuilds of the A1s and you can tell the two apart from the round Smokebox on the A1Xs and the curved ones on the A1s
