I love the look of this thing. Wish it had an auto back light and better WR. I love the vintage looks but they should have added some modern improvements. Still ordered it because it'll make a fun work/dress watch.

First i bought an A700WEMG-9AEF cuz i figured that it would be that best one, and then i realised that the case is plastic... I quickly canceled my order and switched to this one. I think Ill be happy with this one but I hope they make a stainless steel case for the A700WEMG-9AEF.

I love the construction and dial of the watch... but a bit underwhelmed by the negative display, compared to the GShock which was much clearer. Would definitely have bought it if only I lived in Europe. Lol. Thank you for sharing. :-)

I'm not a fan of the mother of pearl dial but it seems in this video the rainbow sheen isn't very obvious? In what sorts of light does it really show?

Yes, it's not very obvious, most of the time it just looks dark grey. It's only under strong lights, mostly direct natural light that it will show.

It's a very nice watch, it almost looks like a wood finish.. I don't like it to be only water resistant for 100 euros. I would buy the A700 I think with that vintage metall band (or mesh band) for around 25 euros.

Yes, I'm with you on that one, it wouldn't have been a stretch for Casio to make it at least 100m WR. I'll check out the A700, sounds like an interesting option 👍

I agree with you. I have the A700 and it's a good watch and slightly slimmer than this watch as it is only 6mm thickness. If this watch was around £50 I would probably purchase it. Being only splash proof it is a bit expensive but I do like this watch to be honest.

I recently got these and one problem that i have with them is that the strap is opening by itself :/ how to fix it?

Have you closed the adjustment buckle all the way? This happened to me also when I didn't. You have to press very hard to have it closed. Otherwise it's possible that the part where the clasp latches is a little bent. They to set it straight, the metal is not very strong (that's why it might get bent)

Horologique yea I think I will. I have the 168 model to determine if I need to switch to strap & I do. The way the stainless steel bracelet was designed, it definitely catches the hair on a hairy wrist vs a high end bracelet lol. I purchased the F91 for my grandpa. The prices for these watches are perfect for heavy activity. Hoping to pick out a Hamilton watch other than my preordered PSR. That’s true 70’s retro. I dig the khaki field & jazz master. But as I keep going deeper into research, I’m falling for a very classic looking watch by RGM Watch Co., the 801 or 151 Corps Of Engineers, inspired by watches from WW1. My curiosity started after buying Apple Watch in May. I want to sell it for something more practical, meaningful, something that fits my personality & simply captures me in awe without going too extreme in price. The watch can not bling either lol.

Wonderful, most watch enthusiasts dismiss the Apple watch but it can be a gateway into the world of classic horology. I love the Khaki field, wonderful watch, especially the Mechanical 38mm!

Horologique yea I’m not sure what it was that made me have a change of heart. The Apple Watch shines best as a health & fitness tool. It is a pure piece of tech, your phone now on your wrist & does almost everything the phone can do. Like music gear, less can be more though. Why have a tool that does so much when you’re only going to utilize a portion of its feature, tricks, gimmicks, whatever you may call it. Quite simply, I haven’t been wearing my Apple Watch most of the time since I’ve purchased. I’m in the house most of the time, not able to truly test health & fitness features outside the home. I care for my 92 yr old grandfather. I mean, I can still exercise in house. Just prefer outdoor activity & not cramped up. Running in place vs actually running. Definitely a different strain on your body.

El brazalete de éste reloj es de 18mm y de montura clásica, como cualquier brazalete. El Gshock 5600 tiene monturas especiales, por lo que no creo que se pueda

I really hate that 12/24 hour toggle. Such a stupid design decision. People don't need to flip back and forth between those two modes frequently. They use one or the other.
