So very sad about the puppies, I noticed a sign CCTV surveillance, if that is the same area, maybe you can ask the police or RSCPA to look at it the videos and see who murdered those puppies.

I agree with you regarding the murdered puppies. Utterly despicable and so upsetting. BTW; the 2 x 'double rings' are the wheel hub and hand rail from a self propel wheelchair. Also that black basket is from a mobility scooter (I work in a mobility shop and deal with these every day).

The giant 'grenade pin' you found is actually a lynch pin or snapper pin. So called snapper because if you've ever had one snap back into position and catch your fingers when they are frozen....yep feels like you've snapped yout fingers lol.
