Absolutely! The atmosphere is what makes The Fog such a great movie to me

I agree it definitely has one of the best atmospheres. I've seen this film I think about 10 times. It's one of those films you can never tire of and the funniest thing is it still makes me jump in the scarry scenes after all this time. Thanks for your reply by the way.

Oh man, it's glorious out there, you're going to love it! Those steps are no joke though😅. A little before the turn off for the road that takes you out to the lighthouse is the location for Stevie's house as well. They put some strange architectural elements on the roof, but it's worth stopping for a moment to have a look. It's gorgeous out there have fun!!!

It's an amazing place to visit. It's about 60 miles from where I live so I've been there plenty of times. In fact I had been to that lighthouse well before I ever even saw The Fog, but of course now the 2 are forever linked in my mind. Adrienne Barbeau's character's house on the water is just down the road too, you pass it on the way to the lighthouse. If you ever happen to make it out to California on holiday or anything, you have to go visit it, it's incredibly awesome as a horror location and just unbelievably beautiful in general, those steps are no joke though!

I'd love to one day! Beautiful place just to visit for a holiday let alone the The Fog locations. Would be fantastic to visit the place on an actual foggy day. 😁

Thanks my friend! It is a really amazing place to visit, but those steps are no joke. They say that it's equivalent to walking 25 stories!!! I was in full motorcycle gear and tired as hell by the time I left, but it's totally worth it, if you're ever in Northern California you gotta check it out.

@@captainn2094 It's located in Point Reyes just a little north of San Francisco. There are other locations nearby as well, Stevie's house is just before the road you take to get to the light house, though they put some weird architectural elements on the roof since the filming so it looks a little different, but still totally recognizable
