Enjoyed the English sneaker shopping experience segment as someone who grew up between Manchester & Liverpool. Sneaker culture is massive in both cities and also pretty similar. Historically heavy Adidas on view with Nike Air Max eventually claiming dominance over the last 30 years. It was Liverpool FC fans thirst for new Adidas silhouettes in the early 80s spotted on away trips to Europe that kicked off the whole football casual movement. But now, take a walk round and you’ll see AM 95s, On runners, New Balance, Adi Gazelles, AM97s or Plus everywhere. And yes Welty is right, street scruffs clad head to toe in black North Face & Under Armour including hoods up & balaclavas, always rock black 95s (or 110s as they’re known) or ON cloud runners. 😂

I worked retail finishline with a recovering functioning addict as our manager and he was a very Intresting man reminded me of benson from regular show because he would randomly rage just like benson would and the man would try and fight customers 😂 me and him got into it in the back once and he told me he would allow me to swing on him just cause it meant he would lose his job hated and loved him

Once had a guy try to return a pair of Air Max 1's that were soaking wet. Said he bought them, tried them on at home and realised he didn't want them so he put them in the washing machine and wanted to return them to us clean. Told him I can't sell someone else wet shoes and his argument was "just wait for them to dry and then sell them." Needless to say he got laughed out the door.
