Actually, the guards are really not supposed to ineract with the public when they are on duty.they can recieve a hefty fine.so, he is breaking protocol

It's at the individual Trooper's discretion. I remember when everyone used to specifically ask before making physical contact. Now people appear to have a sense of entitlement about it as if they have a right to make physical contact.

@@cashew515 No the horses are not to be touched. Have you ever been around horses? The bit to defend themselves when they don’t have any other means. Plus they are in a confined space . Why wouldn’t they bite. If people want to a horse; this isn’t the place or time. 🙃

I’m sorry but these people that get up there and laugh when the horse is trying to take a hunk out are just plain silly. He’s saying don’t bother me and all of them think they are the one that will calm the horse then the crowd will see how marvelous they are. Pathetic. Get a clue
