That was a great video . Rescued a 4 year old stallion which I gelded. He was left alone so he was kind of wild. Especially with his rear legs. This will help a lot.

Can you use this for a horse that kicks the farrier when its hind foot is trimmed? I have a pony that relapses every few years to kicking the farrier. She's gone as far as 3 years between kicks, but when she does, it's bad.

Hi, one thing you didn’t mention was about the height to tie the leg up. I would be interested in your thoughts when hobbling a hind leg on unbroken 3 to 4 year old horses for the first time on the pros and cons of tying the leg up higher vs closer to the ground. Horses are humanised and do basic leading, have had feet trimmed etc so not a feral type. If tying up higher they cannot get their foot on the ground so in theory most should give up the fight quicker, whereas when tying it low they can periodically get the hoof on the ground and therefore will fight it for a longer time period because they have got that ‘reward’ from getting it on the ground - do you find this to be true? Thank you
