Alex is great, but this video aren't that messy and easy to understand. Even i don't doing plumping or anything with the water, bathroom or anything understand the system now, thanks to you. I had to watch the video twice to understand everything, but now i do. I tried to understand Alex system but after several attempt i gave up. Alex has heavly system in hes RV because the kitchen as well so it can be little bit messy if you don't doing anything with plumping. Thanks again! In our family cabin there is only summer cabin, but after your video im thinking little bit about to convert it so it's easier to stay there for the winter. We having well there, but it's only about 200 liters. Like you are saying if you are doing 2-3 showers it's empty so in five showers at max it will be empty for water in the well at the cabin even less because we need to wash the dirty plate, pan etc. But with this solution i could stay for much longer period in the winter time as well. Will be looking at it in the summer when i will be there for a while. :)

I want to thank you so much for sharing this video. I am looking for such an installation for quite a while and nobody seamed to explain it in a simple and understandable way you did. Do you have a list of all the parts you used? I recently bought an RV in Germany and can not bring it to Greece where I live because of the lockdown. As soon as it is save I will try to do so. I am willing to alter the whole bathroom if necessary in order to try to install this shower which I think is of major importance. So thank you so much for sharing and if you have a list it would be very much appreciated.

is your uv sterilizer 12v or 240v? how have you powered it please. im assuming like mine it came with a 240v ballast? is this the reason (I presume) you got a 12v ballast and swapped out the 240v ballast for this?

Yay. Love the choices. Really like my seaflo kit. Was very impressed with the bobillvans stuff. Do both pumps work when you apply power?. The seaflo pumps are pressure switch so will activate from a the turn of a tap instead of the flick of a switch. We have gone for the seaflo sump pump and love it.

Thanks for watching! I just used a switch as it was easier. I will have a switch to provide power as they can activate every so often with a shower as some water leaks out (usually in the middle of the night making me jump) but use a shower tap when it is in situ. These pumps will activate on pressure drop and I will also have an accumulator on the shower pump to stop the pulsing. I would have preferred the 30 series with the 1/2” fittings as opposed to 10mm but they are £60 each. I already had one of these as a spare so thought what the heck. Much cheaper than Shurflo so will see about longevity but great kit.

Loved your river water video, was really tempted with a change over switch to do the same as you! Running out of weight though and retro fitting this stuff is a pain!

@@HorseboxCamper hopefully they will stand up to the test but easily replaced if not. Avoiding water hammer is a must in my opinion.

Great ideas! How do you remove the soap from the water since being dissolved will allow it to pass through your filter system?
@HorseboxCamper
@HorseboxCamper 2 жыл бұрын
To be honest you don't, we change the water once it gets too cloudy and you can smell the soap coming through. The water is clean just doesn't look great! We change the water every 6-8 showers approximately!

Have you thought about removing the soap, I’ve heard these style showers really struggle when soap is run through them

Thanks for watching. We are only going to use handmade soaps made from natural products. They are combined body wash and hair shampoo that don’t foam. Not sure I fancy showering without soap.
