Hey Shane, Nice to see/hear you’re at THE BASH! Wish I could have made the trip. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! #24 at MacMulkin if I correctly recall. I like the “GT3” Competition Seats, but think at age 68 the GT2s are in my C8 and I have trouble getting in and out without “Scuffing Up” my door sills and door. The seat needs to be back and the door open as wide as it will go. I’m probably not the only one having difficulty I bet. So, that said IMO, the GT2s are probably the best option with a 2LZ. I’m on a list at my local dealership for an ERAY. Looking forward to your commentary and coverage of THE BASH. Please find out if the cockpit of the Eray has a more visceral sound than the stingray z51 in sport mode. Ask Shane if he could get a ride in the cabin of the Eray to find out if possible. Either way props to horsepower obsessed and Shane. Thanks for posting up for those of us who couldn’t make it out to bowling green. Lots of fun with the video. Makes us feel almost as if we were lucky enough to be there.

Looking forward to video of a ProCharged E Ray 6.2 coupled with the electric motor in front. Procharging should boost the E Ray with very usuable 130 hp over the stock one at the rear while the electrics work the front wheels.

What's up Justin!! Enjoying the content as always. I have a question for you. We know there will be different colors added to the C8 for the 2024 model year. I noticed on the Visualizer for color options, they don't have the word "Metallic" with the Ceramic Matrix Grey. Are they taking out the metallic flake from this color now?? If they do, what a bummer!!! I am already bummed out about GM not continuing "Pearl White Metallic Tri-Coat," which is a very beautiful color. And, the color sold a lot for the 2023 model year. It should be a crime, lol. Please let me know when you can partner and I hope we can meet soon!!!!

That Sea Wolf Grey Eray has some massive looking rear tires Look expensive to replace. How many miles are expected out of the factory tires? To me the Cup ZO6 Tires look they need replaced when they roll out new. With 1/2 the tire looking like a Slick, it just doesn’t look like it’s a street performance tire. Then you have someone like Speed Phenom tracking his car and driving like he stole it. Those tires are going to need replaced if he wants to keep setting the best lap times he’s always after. Good for him and for the rest of us to show what the ZO6 is capable of in the real world! Hope people that get the ERAYs do the same as we are looking for great performance out of these models. My inspection mechanic I take my cars to for stuff he can handle vs the dealership once out of warranty is pretty tough on tires and ball joints. He’s pretty critical about those issues in particular. Xpel seems to be working well for my C8. It doesn’t seem to have the magnetic attraction for dust like paint has, or is it the Ceramic Coating that has that effect? Anyway, it seems to be working a lot better requiring less washing of the car IMO. Love the Elkhart Lake Blue and when it comes time to Spec my ERAY, some available blue would be my first choice. My C8 is Red Mist and I’m keeping it if I get the ERAY, so I don’t think I’d get a second Red Mist. Again, great job Shane filling in for Justin, since he couldn’t make it this year!
