As you may notice, I decided to go back to the other designs for the time being, albeit an updated version. There were some good points that I really agreed with so I felt this was for the best. Don't worry though, for those of you that liked the new designs, they aren't gone forever, they'll be back in the future. {'v ' \ Thank you all for the feedback though, I really appreciate all of it!

I am definitely a fan of the old designs but the new designs were amazing too. Idk there's something and the realistic animal faces on stick figures that really does it for me.

New design was actually beautiful to be honest, but also seemed pretty hard to make, it should be used in more important scenes, but silly stuff like this the old+ design is good enough!

i love both designs!! the more complicated designs help with facial expressions and the more nuanced version of daily life while the old design is much more simplified and swagger, giving the birds an "it is what it is" type of vibe keep it up, da sassy owl!!! love ur animations

I think the redesign for Goldie looks great because it fits his personality, but there's something about these old designs with the emotionless nonchalant demeanor and casual dancing that just fits Red and Blue so perfectly. Plus they got some new hair and they're ballin'.

i love the implication that the music just follows red and teal wherever they go. the music has a Doppler effect.

I hope you settle on that, or whatever makes you happy, because there will be somebody complaining no matter what and at some point you have to commit so you don’t drive yourself crazy. I like the combo of the new and old designs! I always found the face on the old one funny because of how deadpan it was, which matched the serious/sarcasm vibe the owls have. Goldie rocks the new look way better as an adorable poofball. Cheers!

I could watch ur intro so many times on repeat Anyways, the new designs weren't bad It really was just the eyes, so if you rly feel like that's something you want to add to ur design. Experiment w sunglasses E.g. For a surprised expression: you can see through sunglasses to deliver the look on their faces, same with say a 😐 or 😑 expression As you can see, removing them completely was a pretty big jump. But feel free to still include moments where say, it falls off -they do tumble quite a bit (Pirate n Sahara) I jst thought of these rn lol No credit needed, I just like art

i think part of the reason the new designs feel so different is because they are actually just different characters altogether. the old designs have no facial expressions and can only smugly dance at things to express how they feel. meanwhile the new designs actually have real faces and can have a wider range of emotions. not saying one is inherently better then the other, but they are different. i also think people have grown attached to the old characters and are maybe apprehensive to give the new versions a chance.
