This game is too beautiful for it to die out like other games. I wish this game would never die.

This event basically made us feel hopeless to save the one person we were supposed to save. We failed so many times that we basically lost count on how many times we had to see Kongming and the others die over and over again. But that final scene, which I still remember as clear as morning dew, the part where we finally decide to make the best choice we could have made, which was to take Kongming with us back to the Hyperion and leave Emberya to the capable hands of Rita. Looking back on those painful cutscenes brought tears to my eyes. I really wish they would make an archive for events like these. Mihoyo really outdid themselves with this one.

And as it turns out, this theme is much older. It was originally the boss theme for Theresa back in GGZ.

it is kinda fun how they made all kind of different version of Theresa, with different personality, like Rondon as Yae Shae, Kindred as vampire Theresa and then now we have Starlist Theresa as Kongming. Really wish they make more of this kind of thing for other chars too. like that time they did with Young Himeko.

A bittersweet song. Even if it doesn't play once the scenario arrives, I'll still envision it. 'Silver Hair and Blue Eyes', the context makes sense so far in three scenarios, two in one particular event. In 'The Day You Vanished with the Stars', the significance is expanded to two characters lamenting at different moments. Originally, it's the Captain who's falling deeper and deeper into despair and trying to keep Kongming alive and failing every time or being successful at the cost of Rita and/or Theresa dying instead (which is taking its toll on his mentality.) Then it goes further and it's representing Rita's view of realizing that she won't be seeing Kongming again and that she never got to say good-bye. The 'stable time loop' can be interpreted by some that the events involving 'Honkai Kingdom: Zero' and 'The Day You Vanished with the Stars' will seemingly repeat without end. In the main story, it's Theresa mourning for Cecilia who she failed to save from her death in the 2nd Honkai Eruption. Despite doing her best to move on with life, she still laments about it and it's somewhat present even in her tone in APHO. Given the 'indicated' ending, it will soon be everyone lamenting and mourning for Kiana when she leaves to seal herself and the Honkai on the moon. During the Herrscher of Domination Arc, none of the present members (those from St. Freya Academy) showed any sign of wanting Kiana to risk her life just so they could actually eliminate the opposing Herrscher. Fu Hua was quite worried (she regretted placing Kiana in Otto's hands in the past) and Theresa doesn't want to take another risk of potentially seeing her 'niece' vanish again, the two are only relieved from this thought when Welt says that isn't part of the plan (on their side it isn't). Theresa just can't have a peaceful life. Failing to save her one best friend from her death, then failing to keep Kiana safe from Otto (prior to the main story). When she reunites with Kiana after all that, she's incredibly happy and does her best to make sure her 'niece' doesn't do anything reckless (aka the standard Kaslana tradition). Now picture how she feels when Kiana makes that one decision, Kiana is her only reminder of Cecilia and, in a way, only family member she has left. Now her only remaining family member is gone, possibly for good unless the Honkai can be removed in any other way to allow Kiana to return to Earth. It was mentioned in the chapters centering on Fu Hua's memories and past that Kiana was the one person in the present era that kept the former motivated to continue living (it was never specifically stated to be Kiana by the student in said memory, but she was certainly a reason why Fu Hua was able to express different moods instead of being stoic so much.) Bronya can relate to Kiana in the sense that both were treated as 'slaves' and 'brainwashed' to cause harm. The sudden change in Kiana's personality after the reunion caught her off-guard and despite their friendly rivalry at times, Bronya really does care for Kiana's wellbeing. For Mei, Kiana was the reason why she decided to become stronger and stay alive. Kiana was her first real friend she had, she refused to allow Mei to commit suicide and remained by her side until Otto kidnapped Kiana. As far as it goes, even Raven notes that Mei's continued activities in subduing the Honkai is to keep Kiana out of harm's way as much as possible to prevent another catastrophe. In APHO, it's quite clear that the loss of Kiana's presence in Mei's life has had a very deep and painful impact that makes her seem depressed. Adam seemingly notices that Mei's gaze tends to be looking at the moon a lot of the time.

I always thought the lyrics is just captain talking to kongming 1:46 is captain's verse IF he failed to save her 2:16 is kongming's answers IF she died and became a star Fortunately, the story had a bitter sweet ending though.

I started Honkai Impact 3rd recently, just about able to start the Honkai Kingdom event. I thought of skipping because I just started and I have no idea with the story yet and planning to focus first in main story but I didn't. I'm glad I did this event and completed it with tears in my eyes.

Props to you madmen for somehow making most the non-main plot event stories(which were often mad themselves XD) miraculously weave together. Madmen, glorious madmen.

I love this song so much, and hate it at the same time. It just reminds me of my first and probably will always be my love. I have a best friend who always made me feel warm and welcome. We both love exploring music and would always recommend songs to each other. We knkw each other's favorite bands, artists, and genres. Everytime I was down and depressed he would be the first person I'd call to comfort me. We knew each other since 7th grade and throughout highschool, for some reason, we were always classmates. I knew long before 8th grade I liked him,but as we grow old and closer I started to want more than just a friendship. He even danced me in front of everyone on my 18th birthday, and told me he always imagined how good it would feel if he'll get the chance to dance me in my 18th birthday. After that happened, I wanted to confess to him because I thought I have a chance. He always gave me the vibe that he liked me too so I really wanted to try. After well...he told me about a girl he wanted to ask out on a date. I saw how excited and determined he was to get girl, so I backed off. I just supported him because clearly it made him happy. I don't have the intention to jeopardize that, and I'll just accept who he chooses. For now I'm satisfied seeing happy, doesn't change the fact that I regret not confessing to him first though. And I can only hope no one goes through that pain of regretting something you could've had.
