Tbh, I play tank like this sometimes. In that "YEAH I'LL DASH AHEAD AND MAKE THEM FOCUS ME, SO THAT MY TEAM IS SAFE" way, and then I die like a moron if my engage was shit. But knowing that it was your fault because you were too front is half the improvement.

That ending was unexpected but had me laughing! Also, that Illari hitting your tree with her ult made me pause for a minute. That feeling is awful!

I swear, it’s not a tank, dps or supp problem, it’s more related to being a loser who can’t play as a team and that’s it.

I've been using Lifeweaver more often and he's just so fun and fluid to play with! Definitely still needing practice, but he's slowly taking over Mercy for me. Both fun in their own ways, but Lifeweaver is taking more cake than Mercy rn.

I loooooove Lifeweaver. I just wish his thorns gave a bleeding effect if X amount of thorns hit a target. I think that would give him the damage boost he needs and then he’d be perfect.

I've been playing Support mostly since Overwatch 2 came out. I started playing tank recently just to see if it was a bad as everyone says, and yup, it's pretty bad. It's a lot tougher without the second tank even though you're gigabuffed. I find my Dva has been my most effective tank as I have more liberty to push up, and peel for my team. But if you play tanks that like to be aggro like rein, and you don't have a aggro dps and support, youre gonna have a bad time.

its so funny like there is 3x time more toxic dps and supports, but every time i see vide about toxic player its a support saying tanks was toxic. I cant imagine how many videos there whould be of toxic dps or supports if tanks really cared to make videos about that. Btw im not saying toxic tanks are cool, fuck those as well. But im kinda tired how other roles are trying to make tanks mains the worst people most of the time

I sometimes play tank and it’s a bit of both u have to play with the tank and sometimes the tank has to play with u I play tank as a support tank like I help make sure that my team doesn’t take much damage or when they’re being focused on. I try and make it so I take the damage than my team

I started playing lifeweaver right when he came out. though when he sucked I mostly just played with him vs bots lol. now I play him in qp and comp about as much as I play mercy. sometimes I actually switch mid game from her to him 😱 as blasphemous as that sounds lol. the ability to pull a dumbass over extending team mate back is so valuable... though sometimes they're dumb and run right the f**k back into a 1v5 again... sometimes they actually realize I saved them and are appreciative. 🥰

On behalf of the tank community we condemn that blizzard world Reinhardt!. And about that statement of tanks should play with the team and not the opposite: I think it's more like a seesaw: sometimes the team does need to capatalize on the space you're making and stay together so you can help them and sometimes you as tank shouldn't be far from the team and look for the moment you're team is being aggresive to push with them. in short sometimes they should play with you and capatilze on you're space and sometimes as a tank you should be aggresive if you're team is aggresive. if you disagree and have a diffrent opinion it's fine just don't be mean.

You're going in when no other character is near you and you're dying. You refuse to let your team catch up with you. And you're pushing at times when it's extremely not good to push. Like idk, running headfirst into a bastion tank form as rein, as he shreds your shield and then you.
