Hosted by Australia’s favourite vet, Dr Chris Brown, NRMA Insurance launched ‘Koala Help’ on World Environment Day. 'Koala Help' is a virtual school excursion to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital. Watch this exclusive half hour show to see behind the scenes at the Hospital, the wonderful work the volunteers do caring for our furry friends and how you too can protect our koalas. #KoalaHelp

What a wonderful video indeed, makes me cry in places, I live in England and I love koalas, top of my bucket list is a koala cuddle, thank you so much for all the hard work and love you put in to saving these adorable animals

@@NRMAInsuranceSocial HI Natalie, I would love to but can't walk atm, I should have had hip surgery in March, cancelled because of Covid, now I've put on too much weight, so first lose weight, have op, then we'll see, I'm 71, a long flight is daunting but fingers crossed, then koalas here I come, many thanks, keep showing your great videos

Paul, I miss you so much! My heart is so broken💔😢 I really hoped you would make it. I hope you and sweet Lewis are together now and happy and whole again. I look forward to meeting you beside the Rainbow Bridge someday. You were such a special, sweet boy. Thank you, Port MacQuarie. I know you did everything you possibly could, both for Lewis and for Paul. I pray that somehow, some way, we'll find a way to prevent the extinction of this beautiful, inoffensive, innocent animal. I'm grateful to have adopted Triumph at FOK for my son. He is the dearest little koala boy a mummy could hope for.💖💖💖💖💖💖🐨

This hospital is Amazing love it so much I adopted my sweet LINR Paul their who passed away in June this year badly burned for those bushfires 😪😪😪 miss him so much he was such a cutie ❤️🐨❤️ Thank you so much for taking care of that sweet boy🐨 and you Dr Chris now you from télévision an Amazing good doctor Bondi Vet remember❤️ Tank you so much for take care of those Sweetheart they are so Precious!!!! ❤️🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨❤️💕

What causes clamidia in koalas?

Hi Linda, chlamydia is a bacterial infection. Koalas catch chlamydia through interaction. However, young koalas can also become infected by eating pap, a nutritious type of feces, when it's excreted by infected mothers.
