I am a mother and when I watched Cha eun-Woo crying I just wish I could hug him. He is old enough to be my son. I would want to assure him that one day he will meet someone who will be on his side.

As a single 27 year old woman, I can feel Eun Woo's heart here. I feel EXACTLY the same thing... being single is wonderful. But youre just human. It is often lonely and sometimes it gets extremely sad you dont have anyone to talk to or to be honest and transparent with. You have friends and family but theyre not always there and sometimes they dont get to understand you as well. consider yourself lucky if you found the perfect person for you. Dating and marriage these days seems like a joke and only few people are serious and thats what makes it more sad.

Koreans should do something about this no dating rule for celebrities. If I genuinely admired some idol, I'd be more than happy knowing they are in relationship. Everybody needs love.

I just wanna say fans should keep in mind that we don’t own these idols. Just like us they are humans too. They make mistakes. They deserve to love and to be loved. Eunwoo being emotional reminds me of my husband so much. I remember that night when he opened himself up to me for the first time, we talked for hours about his traumatic childhood, his weaknesses, his struggles, and his ugly side, but surprisingly, I didn't freak out. I never judged him. Instead, I saw his imperfectly beautiful side which made me love him even more. It must have been so hard for him to open up but he trusted me anyway and that for me, is something so precious. From that day on, I promised to myself, I will always be his bestfriend and will stand by his side, no matter what. i started crying after eunwoo talked about how he just wants to have someone that he can comfortably talk to. i feel like society forgets that hes human like the rest of us in the world, hes not just some barbie or "face genius." people talk about him like h's perfect, but thats whats on the outside of eunwoo. he has genuine feelings on the inside too, and sometimes he has to hold back those feelings just to keep that "perfect" image of him. like take this video for example, he cried and hes usually not like that. hes always smiling and laughing, but not too talkative at some points. imagine how much hes going through in his head by himself? i just wanna jump through the screen and give him a hug. i hate hate hate seeing any big influencer, celebrity, idol, etc. breaking down because of things like this. :(

I think he wants to experience real love, you know be happy with someone and be able to share your pain with. Because i’ve seen him on other shows where he told people he was focused on school which left no room for dating, and not soon after he became an idol. In which being called that makes it a scandal when you fall in love with someone. And him being the most loveable guy ever wouldn’t want to be known for a “scandal” or you know a “betraying” their fans. Which seems so stupid either way.

The first time I watched this video was when I was first starting to learn more about eunwoo and about astro. My first thought was “this is so cute, he really wants someone to love and to be by his side through thick and thin. He seems like the most amazing person ever” but after watching this 6 months later, I now understand everything that eunwoo does, and everything that he faces online and it made me understand his answer even more. He gets hated on for being himself, but he’s honestly such a sweetheart and such a hard worker and he doesn’t only do it for himself, but for his family, his members, and for arohas. I believe he wishes to find someone who he can be as comfortable with as he is with his members. Eunwoo always mentions that astro is his home, and he brings them everywhere he goes and never forgets to mention how much he adores every member too. I believe he wishes to have someone that has his back, as much as the members do, and someone who won’t see him as cha eunwoo, but as lee dongmin. I truly hope he finds someone as amazing as him because he really deserves the entire universe, and he deserves to be filled with nothing but love :)))

My 12yr old niece watches this show with me, and she has pointed out to me that he seems to be lonely even before this episode. She says he is always touching people, putting an arm around the guys, giving more hugs, or leaning in slightly near the guys. She compared him to a puppy who wants pets and hugs, and it just made me sad. He wants skinship and people to trust 🥺🥺🥺

Eunwoo made me cry. Being lonely is the worst. I'm 23 years old,living 1000km away from my family,i see them like 2 times a year,and now cuz of corona even that is hard. All of my friends live away from me,cuz we are far from each other,our connection kinda drift away a bit. I'm single,living and working in a new country. I have only a few people here that i can hang out with,but no one to really talk to about my feelings and problems.Having someone on your side in time like this is only a dream,1 in a million. I think Korean society puts so much emphasis on Eunwoo as “face genius”. They basically treat him like a perfect barbie and I’m sure he is much more deeper than surface beauty. I can't imagine what idols go through. There's far too much pressure to be this angelic perfect citizen and look perfect and never ever say the wrong thing. It's because Eunwoo always tries his best to live up to people's expectation of him. He desperately wants people to see that he is not just handsome, he excels in other aspects as well that's why he studies so hard both academically and other things such as improving his vocabulary in other languages (he learned English language by himself), learning how variety shows works cause he is now an entertainer and constantly improves his vocals and dancing skills as an idol. It's difficult when your career is such a public one, when your profession requires you to be a spectacle, to be perfect in everything. And allowing yourself to be open about your personal struggles, especially the very ugly battles, is such a taboo...because people can use that knowledge of you to destroy you. It's really sad.

This really shows how much they are struggling. I feel bad for idols, all the fans pls remember that they aren't yours and pls don't enter into their personal space. It's really really hard to be an idol. As fans we should support them in what they do. I wish more people understand this..

I could imagine how hard it is for anybody who is that industry. The opinions and criticisms… life in a fishbowl. Due to security you only have certain people around you but they are also linked to your success- so it’s hard to know who is looking out for you, truly. Plus there is so much pressure to keep the image, I think Eunwoo feels the lonely road… yes it is a blessed one and he’s living his dreams, but it comes at a cost. To have someone still be there when the fame and money are gone, the beauty fades, and when they have seen the darkest parts of you… that is a treasure to find.

In the old days idols would be able to secretly date without being caught cause cellphones and social media wasn’t really popular but now they can’t cause every where they go people could have phones and be posting it on social media

i’m not even an astro stan, but he’s very known by every stan and out of all idols i pity him the most, most people notice him for his visual more than his talent. i read it somewhere that he often cried at night during his trainee days after working hard so much, like imagine working your ass off on your talent but got noticed mostly for your visual only. i really wish him a good life and hope he’ll have the future that he dream of

being with someone that values marriage and their partner this much is more than i could ever ask for.

Moral of the story: kpop idols are just like up. They are people and they want to be loved and to give love. They want to feel comfortable with someone and share everything. They are real people with emotions. Please don’t hate on them because you don’t like their music it’s personal taste. Don’t hate on idols because you think their ugly, it’s personal opinion. Don’t hate on idols because they start dating. If you really loved that idol you would want them to be happy and if that means being in a relationship then shall they be happy without hate!

This was shot near the end of TB shooting - the pressure and schedule must have been hectic - non stop and I can think that he was most likely sleep deprived as well - then emotions tend to be just below the surface and more difficult to a manage or suppress 😔 I hope Eunwoo gets that person/s with whom he feels comfortable and trusts, to share his insecurities and even the darkest part of himself. Rewatching this, I realized he was really busy during this time and have always been worked really hard to promote the group and for his own solo projects that I'm sure when he heard all the conversations about having someone to vent to, he must've held in a lot of issues and insecurities because he didn't want to be an inconvenience to anyone but I hope he knows now that being able to vent all the ugly insecurities and issues doesn't just have to be exclusive to marriage but you can extend it to strengthen a friendship too and being able to build that bond and trust to tell them all that trouble you.

My kpop fangirl experience told me that being a kpop idol is "so lonely" even they have their members around them & a hundred thousand fans ready for supporting all their works. This industrial treat them like a robot, they are only allowed to love just their fans and not allowed to love somebody else or have a true love 💔

I think Eun Woo must be have a hard times but cannot express it to anyone... And he want a real person who can understand him and stay by his side because it's really hard to find someone who can understand and loyal to him especially in that kind of circle 😢

Everyone laughed when the couple said that "they're not a match made in heaven but closer to one through hardwork" but this statement couldn't be more real and truer! Marriage entails a whole lot of patience, humility, compromising and meeting halfway, talking things out, taking responsibility, acceptance, forgiving, sacrificing -- yes, LOADS OF HARD WORK!!! There is no such thing as a "match made in heaven" or the "right person" -- you make your partner right for you. No such thing as a perfect marriage either; every single day is a work in progress.

Seriously, kpop companies need to take better care of their idols and their health! I felt him....really I got emotional too when he started crying, this is just so sad to hear and see. When something or someone is putting pressure on you and it keeps building up, like you need to be this or that, you feel like you are not in control of your own self anymore, and by that really, you end up imagining or wishing that there would be someone who you really want to show your true self to, your good and even bad qualities as Eunwoo said. As the saying goes "No man is an island" just puts more meaning into it.
