When I was a child, I would always look for my dad. Now, I'm mostly go to my mom. I don't know why but we barely talk to each other. The most words we exchanged in a day is like 1 or 2 sentences which consists of complain (we sometimes fought over a snack lol) or a set of question and answer. I don't know how to approach him nor tell my dad about my day. It doesn't help I'm naturally a quiet person and some people said he is quiet too. Still the silent is not uncomfortable at all for me. There's no pressure to keep talking and I can just be my quiet self. Imo, even if I don't say "I love you" they can understand it. Also, maybe since saying "I love you" aren't common in my family or rather they never said it out loud. But I can still feel their love. In the end, every family have their own style after all :)

@@ordinarycat9978 This feeling of awkwardness is where I started. I just told my dad that I felt awkward talking to him about things and I couldn't understand why. I told him I want things to be different and I wish we can talk to each other about more things. I explained to him I felt I would have a lot of regrets if I didn't tell him this. He understood, and it was the same for him as a parent. He also felt the same but didn't know how to approach starting a conversation. I think the best way for this kind of situation is to actually just address and talk about these feelings. "I feel awkward talking to you, but I want to, I just don't really know how. I want this to change though, so just know it's not because I don't love you" is a good place to start. Explain yourself, be open and honest and just talk about exactly what you are thinking. Today, me and dad live in different countries but he calls every Sunday to have a chat. Sometimes there is nothing to say but that is ok, we just say "Hi, how are you doing, any news? No? Ok good, stay healthy!" It may seem trivial, but regular conversation even if we don't talk about anything was so helpful to me and my life. It's these little meaningless things that are actually very meaningful. We spoke about nothing, but the fact that we connect and talk every weekend gives me stability and a huge sense of support. To anybody that feels awkward talking to their parents, I recommend starting the conversation right there. "Hey I want to get closer to you and talk to you more, but I feel awkward." There is nothing wrong with that!

@@saintevo6953 That's very nice to hear. I'm glad that you and your father got closer. I wanted to try it too. But I feel like right now isn't the best time. A bit personal but I actually feel like a failure right now. I failed to live up to their expectation and if compared to my cousins, I'm just an embarrassment and burden to them. Hopefully when things get better and my feelings all sorted up I can do it. Tho I think it'll be very embarrassing so I need to build my courage too

@@ordinarycat9978 Hmm hope things get better. If it helps, I've had depression and anxiety for about 12 years and achieved nothing in that time. Disappointment/failure for sure. I had a falling out with dad before we started talking actually. We lived in the same house but didn't speak for about 2 years. It was during that time I decided I'd regret it if I never spoke to him again so I just told him an asked him if he thinks he won't regret this later. So we started talking and it helped me a lot.

it looks like you don’t understand Jongmin is more famous than Juhno nowadays. That is why the show is keeping him and being in a variety show doesn’t mean they have to give something to the show to make it funny. Most of things are scripted. Jongmin’s personality is carefree and goofy and he is dense. Sangmin already pointed out he is good to support people and he is neutral, so he is willing to participate in anything, even when he has no idea at all of what he is doing, When he worked with Yoo Jae Suk, he didn’t need to try to be funny, so his appearance was enjoyable and funny.
