Cuz when it’s you who is in the blind date it gets awkward; but if you’re the third party looking over the date there is no moral or mental pressure to look good or present yourself in a best possible way. Plus you wanna know what goes on during the partners’ interaction.

Back in the days of We Got Married (WGM) there was an episode where the Super Junior members arranged some blind date for 3 SJ members, i still recall that episode, one of the girls was probably a big fan girl of 1 of the SJ members.,. and she got so serious she wasnt picked and she literally cried on the show, because of her disappointment, and there was a cut scene where the members consoled her to say "its just a show" it was never meant to be real, all the rejection and flirting was for "SHOW EFFECT" only for as they call it "Business couple" and when the SLATE is closed, they revert to being strangers again. i bet the SJ members didnt even give their phone numbers to the girls. After a few times, i just got sick of dating shows, because the higher your expectation the bigger ur disappointment.. Heo Kyung Hwan was in a dating show previously also where he was supposed to be liking this newscaster i think, he even went out with her outside of the show etc..and took photos but after a few weeks, he went back to being the "I am a single" i need a gf again.

Once they are married they almost lost half of their value. Even a dating rumor does impact a lot in their image.
