@@tomedy_official unless it's one of Bruce willis's more recent efforts, the last one I saw with him in it was about 6 months ago and to say the acting not only from him but the entire cast was awful even to absolute amateur drama clubs standards. You could tell he really didn't want to have anything to do with that movie. Damned if I can remember what it was called but if you find it I strongly recommend against watching it, its 1 hour 45 minutes of your life you'll never get back again.

One of my favourite facts from IMDB about this movie is that the first draft of the script included a love interest for Nicholas, who was subsequently cut from the script, but a good amount of her dialog was given to Danny. This explains why there is this kinda weird (but great) bromance between Nicholas and Danny : D

Back when I first saw the movie, I didn't even think of it as "weird" in any way. Actually, I found it absolutely GREAT, because it really gave a fresh breath to these sorts of stories, and "mainstream*" movies in general. And it just felt. I dunno. Even sort of "normal". Like. Life and love just happens. *) "mainstream" as in "is shown in multiple cinemas around the world, dubbed into the respective country's language"
@couchpotatoe91
@couchpotatoe91 3 жыл бұрын
@@DarthLenaPlant Yeah, I agree. The main protagonist always pursueing a love interest while saving the world feels so forced in some (especially hollywood) action movies. On the other hand meaningful friendships are seen almost never which is a damn pity. Usually because the focus on the love interest is seen as more important and the screen time is limited.

There are seriously so few movies I can say that I have seen MULTIPLE times and still very much enjoy. This movie is at the top of the list. No joke, probably my favorite movie of all time. The writing, story, cast, it’s all perfect.

If I was an actor, I would NEVER work with these 2. I'd be constantly pissing myself laughing. Effin Awesome.

That Timothy Dalton outtake is fucking adorable. Thespian that he is, he's genuinely furious at himself for the flub, and gets wrapped up in a moment of sweary self-loathing. Then the "Still rolling" breaks out that lovely smile and chuckle of his, like the sun breaking through clouds.

I am a Film and Media graduate and I have watched so many films and I even studied Shaun of the Dead for my dissertation but Hot Fuzz is undoubtedly my favourite film. I will watch it anytime, anywhere.

I have no idea how they manage to work together and complete films! My best friend and I have been like sisters since 12 (41 now) and constantly laugh, we’d be screwed trying to do stuff like this lol!! We even sat in corners in classrooms and did daft things (like me drawing on her entire upper arm in biro in English class!!)!! Love watching Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in interviews and outtakes, just being best friends of years!!! xx
