The dance represents their story perfectly: how Hyuna was in Cube already (the cage) and Dawn came afterwards. Hyuna noticed his talent and himself and started to dance to him and then WITH him (how she chased Dawn while he was a trainee, until they fell in love). They started dancing inside the cage but they always noticed how restrained they were (how they were hiding their relationship). I really like this dance it represent their relationship. How it started dawn went into the cage, where Hyuna was already at (the cage represents cube). When Dawn first showed up he started dancing, Hyuna was very fascinated by him. So she started dance with him. After that they got to know each other a little more, when they put their heads out of cage it represented how they want to free and let people know that they had feelings for each other, but since they're still trapped in the cage, they couldn't get out. After Hyuna left the cage it was saying how she was done following the idols rules so she left, soon after Dawn came it was representing how he said he would always be with her. Sorry if you don't understand this is just my personal opinion.

They literally put everything on the line in order to be in love and be open. I wish my other idols could date openly and love openly. I felt that the dance was fine. They didn’t sexualize each other, in my opinion. It was just intimate and I think that’s something that hasn’t been seen very much at this level. They are one of the first couples to be this open. Hope both of them stay happy for a long time!

In my opinion the whole video is a metaphor of their relationship and what they have encountered : at the beginning Dawn joins Hyuna who already is in the cage ( *she was already a trainee then an idol before him, she was a really known idol of their former agency* ). They start knowing each other and dating, still in the cage ( *still hiding* ) but they want their relation to be known, *they can't bare to hide their feelings anymore* (their hands untertwining outside of the cage is a beautiful move that perfectly express this idea). So they reveal themselves, they go out of the cage together but Hyuna is the first one to make a step out of it ( *she is the one who has officially revealed their relationship* ). At first they slow down, almost lost ( *that's when they have been fired, it must have been a very difficult time for both of them* ) Their relationship is now known by everybody, they are in the center of the scene, literally under the spotlights : their attitude for some people is seen as *provocative* (the sexual moves Hyuna is doing in front of Dawn) but at the end their feelings for each other are *completely pure* (when they almost kiss right before the end), they are an *emotional support* for the other one (when Dawn carries Hyuna) and they will *stay together* no matter what, even when *they'll die* .
