We use our Coleman Butane Stove And Alipcool MiniFridge C20 all the time, but there are days when we travel and don't have time to stop and fully setup to make a warm meal. The Hot Logic Max Portable Oven is a wonderful solution to making a fantastic meal on the go, we have used it for multiple meals over the last week and each time it's been fantastic so we wanted to share a review of it for others to check it out too.
Following a Ketogenic lifestyle, we tend to air-fry and pre-prep a lot of our meals each week to help us stay on course, but sometimes the results on microwaving those meals isn't the best. The Hot Logic warms up, cooks or reheats a meal perfectly everytime, I giggle when I use it still to this day.
Keto isn't the easiest thing to stick to especially on the road but this little oven makes it even easier, along the road when we stop for gas or potty break if we are a few hours from camp we pop in a few meals from the Alpicooler refrigerator and when we arrive dinner is ready!
Our Keto Channel it's Bonsai Keto / bonsaiketo it's done amazing things for us and Bill is off a TON of diabetes medicines ;)
I like that we can plug it into the 110 outlet in our van (it uses 110 watts for the max, 45 watts for the mini), or when the van isn't running we use our progeny 300 watt battery pack for portable power.
The Mini even comes in both DC and AC versions, we may just buy one of each. I think we will be buying one for Stacey to use at work vs the microwave and one for me for solo trips in the car.

I have 2 Hot Logics (smaller one) and we use Pyrex dishes to cook and store the food in. They are the perfect size. I keep one at work and the other stays at home. We love them!

I just bought a black mini on amazon as an open box, thing looks brand new, now Stacey still wants the mini purple one for her work too I think we created a monster with these things, but dang they are nice and handy! My solo trip in April down to Mississippi I will be taking the black mini and my fridge full of frozen ready to go meal containers, pop one in mid day instant dinner 2 hours later :)

The keto has been such a blessing mainly to get me off all the diabetes medicines, i was on so much and insulin and still had horrible sugars, now i can relax no shots much lower sugars, id love to drop more weight but so far over 100lbs combined after 2 yrs no gaining it back so ill take that as a victory so far :)

I have 3 mini hot logics; 2 ac outlet, and 1 dc. I use them every day to cook and reheat food. Leftover pizza works great, like the pizza was reordered the next day, but just reheated in the hot logic. I place canned soup, still in the can to heat up. Any frozen food item. Works great to cook and take a nap, not worrying while it’s plugged in. I use ithem with my Jackery 240 when I am out to.

I bought a SabotHeat brand which I like better because it has a timer and you can adjust the temperature. My husband will use it as a hot lunchbox, and I think I will get myself one for the house!

Have you guys ever done burgers? Going on a picnic and have 2 minis and will be receiving two max tomorrow. Wanted to make the burgers at home pan fried or buy them pre cooked and then heated in my HL max with some home made Au Ju. New to HL just had my minis over two month 1st time using it for a picnic

I have used the hot logic to reheat a precooked hamburger patty that turned out great ! I didn’t have any au ju or anything but so far everything we have tried has turned out pretty good! I love tossing a frozen meal in a box in there then 2-3 hours later it’s ready for me, that’s my kinda cooking! Bill :)

I have a glass container with a plastic lid for my hot logic. Do I have to ensure it has a steam hole in the cover? I could drill a hole in the cover if need be. Some people have said it needs a steam hole but others don't mention that?

We have used snapware all plastic but snapped shut and it didn't seem to expand or blow up, i wonder if you could lift like one corner just in case, enough that if it did build up it would just escape that corner, nothing like the microwave tho where you get these big explosions for us so far, everything from chicken to mac n cheese to chili so far has been great. In fact i even got our oldest daughter taking one to work now and just plugging it in when she gets there so its ready for lunch, i think shes slowly converting people at work how nice it is to just have a nice warm hot meal vs microwave damaged meal ;) Bill :) (thats me in the video, just this is one of my other accts).

Is there a setting that allows you to calibrate the heat level? For example, is there a separate setting for keeping an already-cooked meal "warm", as opposed to cooking an already-cooked meal even more? Thanks!

Sadly no it’s just the one temp but we have forgotten it with Mac n cheese in there about 4 hours and it didn’t scorch or make the edges all hard or anything which surprised us ;)

Using this while you’re driving doesn’t kill your battery right? I keep seeing ppl write about having an inverter for your car. Is the inverter only for when your car isn’t running. I just want to use it while driving to Washington from Iowa. Please help answer my question. TY.

It won't wear down your battery to use while driving, you can go directly from the dc jack or buy the 110 version and use an inverter really just depends on which meets your needs, i have both actually 3 now 2 smaller ones one dc for the car and one 110 for Stacey to use at work then the big max unit too, we also have another one thats 110 we use as well love these little things toss a frozen dinner IN THE BOX even in there and drive a few hours and its done. How do you find open box items? I typed open box in the search box and everything that came up seemed like full price! Air fryers for 120? That’s full price, I typed open box hot logic and it was 40 for the small, that’s full price; is there a secret Bill?

When we put stuff into our wish list or cart we note the price say $79 for this microwave, then as you scroll down if there’s a used price it may say 3 used from $44.88 then you click that to read who the seller is and details. I’ve bought many an open box item with really no issues I’m sometimes it’s been returned or packaging gone or damaged fine be me ;). Amazon has always been awesome about returns too so if it came and wasn’t what we wanted or needed it just went back ;)

@@StaceyBillsAdventures ohhhhh, I didn’t realize those were “open box” items. I thought those were just other sellers selling it cheaper. Silly me! It makes perfect sense. I have occasionally bought stuff from those sellers!

I tend to stick with Amazon Warehouse as the seller choice if available for a few reasons, they describe condition (no box or item has cosmetic issue) no hassle returns, and second the other sellers sometimes get ya with shipping fees.

HotLogic Ovens: amzn.to/3cEpOgi Yep the max oven draws about 100-110 watts, we now have 3 hot logics, the max and 2 of the minis, minis run at about 40-45 watts each btw. - LOVE these things so nice for road trips and for Stacey at work :) - Bill :)
