I've been to your shop a couple of times and Everytime I have stopped by I always get told there's no mechanic available if the manager Puerto Rican guy only wants to take care of his peers that's no problem by all means go for it but don't make it seem like the shop is for everyone just say it's for ERA trucking and close friends

Are 2003 Volvos with the DOHC Cummins any good?

And to make it clear I just wanted the battery terminal replaced

Happy New Year greetings from the Ohio Porters! 🇺🇸 I’m really glad that you have purchased some Peterbuilts!, even with a Cummins engine. I’m not much of a Volvo lover, no matter what! I wouldn’t necessarily buy a truck just for their looks, but just don’t like anything about the Volvos. I’ve driven Volvo trucks and cars….they just don’t have ANY appeal to me at all!! 😳The Peterbuilt has some good looks and hopefully it will work out well for you guys. So they’re set up for a solo driver? Do you guys have teams? I’m interested in hearing about their fuel mileage and how they hold up mechanically. I’m hearing more and more about people getting burnt on these used trucks that are out on the market now. So, is it really hard to find decent used trucks? I mean, you even mentioned that you found issues with some of the trucks that you looked at and that they also wanted too much $$$ for them. The bottom line is that if you find a used truck that you like, take it to a shop and have them really go over it before you make an offer! 🧐 I like the info that you gave on the PACCAR trucks…fuse panels and headlight assembly issues.
