It's common practice not to include a plug and cable because there are several types of plugs and people usually use the plug from their old dryer since it fits the outlet and rarely go bad.

The power cord always is bought separate with electric dryers, this is because North America has two 240V standards, a 3-prong and a 4-prong and you need to select for your house. This is not because the dryer is cheap.

My Mum never used a dryer and I also try my best not to either. I love hanging all the clothes out to air dry, but it is so nice to have one up and working.

I don't know of a single 240v dryer on the market that comes with a cord. They have no idea what style power outlet you have in your house.

Can't tell for sure but it looks like you have the strain relief for the power cord installed wrong. The part with the screws should be outside the enclosure and the little 'ears' should be on the inside. The way you have it should still be okay though, the main thing is that the cord can't be yanked out of there easily.

The buzzer on mine goes off over and over close to the end of cycle. Its so annoying i turn it off before the cool down. That can be a fire hazard if your not ready to fold. Buzz once!

We hooked our new one up two days ago, and it ran, but it buzzed during the cycle. We unplugged it and have looked at the wiring to make sure we hooked it up correctly. Frustrating!

Just bought my washer and dryer- dryer is NOT getting hot it’s not drying the clothes😢

Same for me. My previous dryer worked better before the heating element went out.

So the start button was the issue! If you press it too hard it will break, mine did and they replaced it. Now it works perfectly

@@Cupcake40, I am glad that yours is working again. Ours is brand new and the start button works just fine. It's not heating up.

@@natashak3387did you turn off the breaker and turn it back on? If you have a warranty call the service tech it’s free.

@@natashak3387 did you try turning the breaker box on and off to reset it? You probably did- but call the service techs it should be free for them to come out to see what the issue it. Make sure you register online for your warranty- geez, I hope it works soon💜
