The racers always mess it up tho, trying to take each other down but get themselves busted instead. I’ve had fun and rage both as a cop and racer respectively.

They seemed to forget Hot Pursuit at its core is not much different to Most Wanted: it is a team match. For the racers to win, at least one should cross the finish line. This is arguably more difficult for police, as they have to bust all racers instead of just one specific racer.

Rules I learned as a Cop in Hot Pursuit: Always go for the guy in front and ignore everyone else, untill the guy in front is busted, but also watch out for teammates, because friendly fire can happen a lot of times. As a Races, never trust your teammates, because sometimes they'll do everything to win, even get you busted to save themselves. Things I hate about Hot Pursuit: Cops can make you roll upside down to bust you easier after you crash, which is annoying, like it would've been better if they just pushed me, instead of doing this, imo.

@@WSP_DS12 I learned the "bust the guy in front first" rule in a really hard way, because I lost as a Cop a lot of times for not trying to get the guy in front first in the past.
