Underrated truly means: people who rate it don't rate it high enough. And this movie absolutely qualifies. So many people do not seem to understand just how good it is.

In doing the stunt at the start ( 2:53 ) the stunt guy cracked his femur. He was supposed to just hit the side of the truck but had too much momentum and went over the top, hitting the other ramp hard. You can tell it's rough when you look close. Of course that is the take they used so his injury wouldn't be in vain. And he won a stunt award for doing it too

@@pistonburner6448He sold the shot by taking the hit like a champ. What matters is getting "the shot" hence why they tend to use the takes where the stuntman absolutely eats shit.

This was my favorite movie when I was a teenager, I would watch it every time I was home sick from school. When I first saw it, it was the first time I laughed through an entire movie without stopping and I fell in love with it. The scene where he takes Bill Hader to the hospital still kills me.

I will say this - the fall down the mountainside works on the same level as the Sideshow Bob/rake joke. It's funny, then it kind of feels like it's gone on too long, then it's like the funniest thing you've ever seen. Perfection!

I remember the very first time I saw this - my little cousin and her boyfriend begged me to watch it (not my thing) and when the part came up where he went to his happy place and fell for days... I laughed so hard. Harder than I ever have. Laughed until I actually cried. My aunt thought I was high (honey, are you on drugs?!). No, auntie. I wasn't on drugs. It was just the dumbest thing I had seen to date and I didn't know what to do with that. So I cried.

This film is the pinnacle of hidden gem. I watched it alone on a Saturday morning in 2010 after I watched Death Race. Both were in a ton of bootleg DVD'S my brother left and I hadn't heard of either. I enjoyed Death Race but still remember laughing like shit at the stupidity and overly forced Indy style of this film. I was 22 I loved it immediately. Few days later my then GF got about 40mins in before she couldn't watch anymore. 'Its pointless and makes no sense". Yes...

This movie came out the same time as superbad. My friends and I went to go see superbad while we were up in Utica but super bad wasn't playing so we wound up seeing this. Thinking back I think I've laughed harder at this movie than at super bad. All three of us were dying laughing and they were maybe two other people in the theater at the time since we were in upstate New York. And if I recall I remember them leaving at some point in the movie. And ever since then we have quoted this movie since. Hwhiskey!!!!!
