Every time i watch your videos i feel like moving to Tennessee.

Their menu was described to me like reading the War & Peace novel. It rivals The Cheesecake Factory menu. So many options. I used to get the fried fish dinner alot. They have really good milkshakes. There's also another place not far away called The Hop 50's Drive In. I think it's owned by the same folks.

Another very well done video of normal people eating normal food. The place looks really fun. The elvis burger with the peanut butter and bananas isn't my thing but the burger itself looked good and I bet a basic cheeseburger would be great. The desert looked very good also. I hope your break was for relaxation. You definitely deserve it , you work so hard putting out your videos! I think I’ve seen this place before I remember that ridiculously large pork sandwich. That menu is soo large I would think it would be hard to execute it all consistently. Definitely a place I’d like to check out!

Nice place. They put a lot of money into the place with all the decorations, booths, lighting, etc and they did an awesome job. John, you picked a sandwich that I would love and what a piece of pork on there. The desert was great looking also. Great video and now I'm hungry so let's rock in roll.

I love this video. The restaurant is great. Nothing is better than a restaurant theme of the 50's. The food was amazing. The chicken sandwich was as big as someone's head. I never had peanut and banana on burger. I have eaten pineapple on burger and it's good. The price you paid was very reasonable. I noticed sales tax in Tennessee is very high.

Their menu is almost endless. Love this place so much and as your reviewing the menu I found the next thing im going to order when were there is two weeks. Of course we have to get the ribbon frys as well, yum!!

We live nearby in Seymour, we love Hot Rods! I always get the same thing, pizza burger & hand cut fries. One of my favorite meals of all time! 😋

Good morning John and Bobby I am very impressed with the 50s diner the food look amazing you always seem to have the best luck of finding places guys I don't blame you for staying in it's been so hot I have a in-ground swimming pool the water temperature was 103 degrees and I also scene where the water in the Gulf of Mexico was 110°that's just about the same temperature as a hot tub guys till next time stay cool take care

This is a restaurant in my city. It's in a converted Burger King! They need more space. The fried green tomatoes with their ranch dressing is wonderful. They have some of the best burgers we've ever had. They have a huge variety. You can go a few miles to The Hop for dessert. I believe its owned by the same people.

The menu is overwhelming! Sometimes the simplest is better. I think that I would close my eyes, open a page then use my pointer finger either to the right or left! 😂 lol. I have macular degeneration so the neon lighting might give me some problems but I wouldn’t know till I was there. Heard peanut butter on a burger is pretty good but I haven’t tried it. Sounds like a busy establishment. Retro is back & I am happy about that. Happy ❤Day J& B! John you did very well as always!

This restaurant is so cool. I've seen it on another KZfaq video and really hope to visit soon. We recently went to another restaurant in the Smokies and got the Hoosier Sandwich and it was even bigger than John's sandwich. All the food looked good. Not sure how you decided what to get from all those choices. The ribbon fries looked so yummy! The dessert was presented in a very attractive manner. Fun video!

Hey y’all! I know y’all usually come to Memphis in August for Elvis week and wanted to tell y’all about a hidden gem about 15 minutes from downtown Memphis, across the bridge in Marion, Arkansas. It’s called Tacker’s Shake Shack and it’s a locally owned restaurant with amazing food and customer service and it’s very old school diner with tons of Elvis decor and memorabilia! They even have an Elvis burger and The Burning Love burger! Y’all should come check it out if you get the chance!!

We love Hot Rods! Great food and atmosphere. We sometimes head down the road 5 minutes to The Hop in Maryville for dessert 😁 The Hop is 50s themed as well 😍 We also love Capitol Theatre in Maryville for sweet treats. It's not 50s themed but has a lot of cool movie props and memorabilia to see and also a beautiful theatre to sit in as well.

So cool ya'all went to Hot Rods. One of my favorite places to eat and have done so since they first opened. I live just a 9 miles from there in the mountains of Walland next to Maryville. I know you both have visited some restaurants up this way.

In Iowa, we eat pork tenderloins with catsup, mustard, pickles and onions. It’s devine. I get one whenever I visit. Good stuff

Hi Jon and Bobbie I'm glad to see another video drop. I'm a taxi driver here at the airport in Knoxville. I enjoy watching your videos about the food scene here in East Tennessee. Hot Rods is great. They have a sister restaurant called the 50's Hop. It's a drive in.

Good prices and large portions. Impressed that almost everything starch-based is cooked crispy. You two did well.

I eally need to get an inviation to dinner with the two of you. After watching many of your videos, I have determined that it is impossible to get a bad meal while in your company. Seriously, I don't know what is better -- the great food, or watching your enthusiam while you are eating it...

I looked at their menu online before watching this video and good Lord , it’s possible to eat here every day for a year or more and I doubt anyone would eat the same meal twice wow

My kind of place! Food looked delicious. What an amazing menu! Being a 50's baby, I always love that atmosphere. There is a diner in Social Circle, Ga called Hot Rod's Diner that is almost identical. Their menu is not as large, but they have great food too. Seeing this video makes me want to head out there for lunch. Another great review! I will definitely try to check it out next time when I am in the area. Can't wait to see where you go next.

The cherry coke there is soooooo good!! Love their chili!! Piminto cheese bites are good to.😊
