Cant believe how this song sounds nostalgic to me now. It got me through so many stuff. Im better now, a little more alive and a little more light.

One thing I love about the acoustic versions is the fact that Vics voice is raw. With cracks and breaks, it makes the music even better because it shows that he is in fact human, where as recordings are flawless.

I was wondering why Vic would always not include the very important stanza of the song "I will soon forget the color of your eyes, and you'll forget mine." Then I realized, maybe Vic had forgotten the girl's eye color already and had moved on since.

I love how the way he sings this version so fragile like his voice cracks sometimes and I think it adds to the vibe of the song

I've never seen an acoustic performance with so much emotion...live sessions are when you can really tell who's truly in it for the music and the fans and who is just in it for the money. Vic is very passionate in both studio,live,and acoustic as well as Jaime, Tony and Mike.

before i started dated my now ex girlfriend we used to always listen to this song together. we both loved and bonded over pierce the veil. eventually we started a band together and just mainly played house shows or local bars. the first song we ever performed together was this one. we even went to see pierce the veil in concert together. our relationship ended on a horrible note and despite me being the one to call things off i still think of her and miss her everyday. i don’t know if we will ever talk to each other again. i am fearful of the day i forget the way she would look at me when i would play and sing this song to her; i don’t think i could ever forget the color of her eyes

Not a big fan of alot of bands in this genre anymore or bands grouped together with other bands of similar labels but pierce the veil is still a band I enjoy. I love how they write music by feel and incorporate other genres within their music it's nice. With all that said way to go Vic 30 years old and sounding great still, I loved this

I love watching the acoustics because you can really see how passionate Vic is in his music. Like he just looses himself in the guitar and his voice and the song and what it means and its just so inspirational.
