Hannah and I camped at NSW Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate on Australia Day, 26th January 2024.
"Who doesn’t love a camp site where you can feel miles from anywhere…but in reality, you’re no more than a stone’s throw from civilization. Well, we might have found the perfect example, just over the border in Northern New South Wales. Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate is close to Pottsville, Byron and no more than half an hour from the Gold Coast. What still is a working cattle property, now offers campers a beautiful creek-side spot, with a farmstay vibe to match. A lot has to be said for the manager of the property, Tom. He says that his dad (owner of the property) was originally a tad worried about letting strangers on to his land, but now just LOVES welcoming them as they come through the gate.
