I’m loving having you go back to the “basics”. I started watching with the older videos and loved everything about them. The hike in, using birch bark, splitting wood with your knife, cooking over the fire, cracking open a brew (which I had forgotten about) and most of all seeing you look relaxed again! I don’t know why but I love when Boomer finds his stick. I do hope that you will still be sharing your work on your property, but only if it still makes you happy. Thanks again for taking us along.

At 78, I don't camp alone much anymore, but I do camp in spring and fall. I once would do 2 day trips due to work, traveling one nighters if on vacation, but now I won't make the effort unless its for a week or longer. It seems like more work and less leisure now due to being slower, but cooking on a fire, whether breakfast, beef stew or a steak, is the highlight of every trip along with sleeping with rain, waves, or the ripple of a stream. I am amazed at how many retired people sit at home and wait... Many never leave the city or state they were born in.

For clothing gear Arcteryx, helly hansen, north face, marmot, black diamond for me. Can't cheap out on thermals and outter wear in my opinion need to stay comfy. Stuff takes a while to collect, it never ends collecting gear.

I love how you take care of your campsite and your equipment, from knife to saw to hatchet. The campsite always looks as good when you leave as when you got there, if not better.

That is a meal fit for a king, or at least a king camping! However, a German camper has to have a potato, so would need a foil wrapped potato in the fire, but could love it as is... 🤔I suspect that a camping breakfasts or any meal tastes so much better because of the ambiance and because exercise makes you hungrier...

Hi Jeremy. Greetings from Melbourne Australia. Over some time I have watched almost all your videos. Really learnt a lot from them. I do have a suggestion with the sawing the wood on top of the log. I find that cutting in a little v groove into the smooth log helps to hold the sticks in place a lot easier and requires less effort to hold the stick so that it does not slip. Keep up the great content..

Boomer is one of my favorite KZfaq/Camping/On-Line therapy dogs. I'm having a bad day? Problem solved: I watch LW902 and Boomer. No prescription required. Boomer: loyal, faithful, loving, comical, and devoted. LW902: same thing. Only difference is 2 versus 4 legs..lol..
