I hope you guys enjoy a little hot tent camp out I did last week. It's been a long time coming and if you're interested in seeing how I sewed up the stove jack into this tent I've had for about 5 years I'll put that video together too.

What a wonderful video. Nice camera and editing choices. Pleasant narration and subject mater. Gosh, I use to just pack up, fill the tank and just head out with little planing. Ride all day stress-free and have no problem fining a spot. Then I had to really plan out my trip and stay on a schedule to both enjoy the ride and get to camp. Now the ride is just like this video, bouncing around for hours trying to find a camp site. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Lol! It sure is sometimes huh?! Other times it’s a lot more free flowing and camps are easier to find. Stay tuned for the Coastal Motorcycle series I’m putting together for the trip I just got back from. Some camping there as well!

That little stove placed on the ground is the best way to start a forest fire and also a great way to invite a bear right into your tent to join you for dinner. LOL

LMAO!! What would you place it on in this location? And there aren’t any bears of real threat within a hundred miles of this spot. Not any bears that I couldn’t take down by hand anyway. 😆🤣 #Relax…

Hi! I came from Travel Channel. It’s a fantastic video! I'm still learning many things and truly enjoyed your videos. You have a bright personality and that's fascinated me I'm pretty sure about that. For introduction My name is Joy. I have this small Travel Channel. I often visit many places and try to share experience about my travel. I think you are getting a hang of travelling. Travel is also a necessary thing among the other 10 necessary things of our life. So I thought that I will travel the whole country and will present to you that. Hope you will have a good day.💙💙

I lived off my ktm 690 enduro for a year in Washington state. When i was looking for camping.... I camped anywhere but a camp ground. The motorcycle got me off the trail and further than hikers would come hikers and cops. Im sure most of the time i was trespassing but i left no trace and covered my tracks as i didnt want someone mad that i was doing that. I stayed out of sight and had the most beautiful year....thats what i did when covid happened. People were being stupid so i left people.

Cool video mate. I’ve seen a few of the hot tent vids that were done up in the snow with the heavy canvas (I think), and it’s something I’d have loved to have tried, with the car. But having just watched you with the bike, I may just rethink this. 👍 Good work, keep it up.

way more hassle than its worth but cool that you gave it a try. As far as access I just aim for places and roads that only a moto or very determined truck can easily get into. I've been able to camp in some great and probably off limits places that way. Public land seems to mean government only these days. I understand, the way people trash things these days, but its still a drag.

Have you ever gone somewhere and was like “why in the hell would someone bring an RV back here?” ? Or have you ever gone to a spot that is so unsuitable for camping that even you yourself probably shouldn’t camp there, but it was kind of a last resort, only to find some dingus hauled his RV to said location? Regarding batteries. I bought a 5 year old Harley Davidson with ony 600 miles, and a junk battery. I went immediately from the seller to Batteries Plus and bought their most expensive AGM battery. That battery never was great. Many, many times I would hit the start button and there would be a pause and eventually it would crank. After 4 years of dealing with that, I went to Harley Dealership and bought a Harley battery. NEVER has that bike started so fast, and no more pause. I had a driveability issue that completely went away after changing the battery. Now I don't mess around with questionable batteries, I know what the bike should sound like when I start it and if it doesn't, I get a new battery.

@CaptMaxADV
@CaptMaxADV 2 жыл бұрын
The difference is that if you’re somewhat stealth about it it’s generally not a problem. As in, on a motorcycle, with a relatively small footprint… in comparison. Do you know much about “boondocking” or trying to travel over the road and find places to sleep without causing attraction to an area or overstaying your welcome? Same principal. 🤦🏼‍♂️ It’s not an RV park, a rest stop, a camp ground…

this is my impressinon of such youtube videos like this one, most of them have nothing to do with motorbike camping they are all about advertising BS, again and again check most youtube videos they are almost the same, product product product BS !!! Like that lady's videos Nora the dutch lady riding solo another BS she never rides solo she has her own crew, she rides motorbike only while filming !!!
@CaptMaxADV

So confused. If I understand you correctly, let me respond. Let me know if I’m off. 1. If I wanted to make a product video I could do so with about 1000% less effort than this video. This one might be one of my most complexly filmed adventures, sorry you didn’t notice. 2. I hardly emphasize on the “product” at all! 3. I have done product videos such as this. Look around on my channel. 4. I don’t make money from products on this channel, yet anyway. 🤷🏼‍♂️ And if I did that would be fully within the expectations of this platform… 5. In reality, what I’ve done here is take a long time to share something that I’m truly stoked about, and in a situation that I’m unaware of having been used before… for which I was also stoked to share. So, uh, yeah. Sorry to have wasted your time.
