Well I can confidently say this release is a disaster lol. I appreciate the comparison and the honesty about the true quality of this figure. Having the Hot Toys version next to it almost wasnt fair, absolutely blew it out of the water 🤣 Great video bro!

I agree, I was a bit let down but at the same time couldnt expect much. Maybe this will bring more people to Hot Toys, its just nice to have a cheaper alternative for someone newer or wants an anakin that isnt selling an arm and leg.

I got him recently, wanted the hot toys but as soon as I saw the resell price... This is definitely a good alternative if you get a sculpted hair Anakin head. With the head swap, it's great imo, NOT at hot toys level but good enough. if you don't want to spend the $600 for the legit one, $160 for this plus a $40 third party Anakin head and you got a great substitute. Hopefully they make a obi wan. Sculpted hair this time😂. Good review!

I totally agree! The third party sculpts arent to bad either and pop that on itd be hard to tell from a distance with a good robe, its for sure a huge money saver and I also appreciate the kind words!

I guess I’m the only one who is excited about his hair! As I’m making ooak dolls, so I find him absolutely perfect for cutting and styling the way I want it. I was always disappointed that Hot toys doesn’t make rooted hair, so this one wins me over at the first sight!😆 Thank you so much for your video, I will totally buy him now)

I considered this guy for a hot minute. But I am not that much into Anakin, and I already put a lot of of work into the Hasbro 12 inch I already have (repainted head, leather tabard, new body, boot repaint). For the price, he was not worth it to me. And you have to be really good with hair. I really do not think you can get him to look decent with what he comes with. So you either have to reroot his head, or remove it and sculpt his hair (which I am both not great with). So I opted for the Arena Suit Boba Fett instead.

That is a great pick up! A lot of people were happy with that fett, I think you made a good choice if you were on the fence about him anyways, plus you invested more into your custom so you did good in my book. I do plan at some point to swap for sculpted hair for this guy because I think the rooted for this guy it to much to work with plus its not the right color either

@@CollectingMadness I know you can color wigs with sharpies. But this hair also seems to have a really coarse texture, so I think it it impossible to get that wavy hairstyle Anakin has going on. I think it is a wise choice to sculpt his hair. Plus, with that you can get rid of the hassle having to restyle that hair every time you e.g. want to take pictures. However, the Alpha figure might be a good choice if for some reason you need several Anakins (dioramas, for example).

Bro bro listen I own the hot toys anakin Skywalker and obi wan kenobi hot toys plus the clone wars anakin Skywalker hot toys I think people are being a little hard on this anakin I own all the anakin Skywalkers customs sideshow and hot toys so this one to me is cool to me he will be my first rooted hair anakin so I'm excited to pick this one up I also own the real action heroes anakin Skywalker so idk good review though bro just please be a bit more easy on this anakin I think he is awesome :)

I totally agree, I was just trying to give honest opinions about him cause he has flaws but im still keeping him as well because I myself missed out on ds Ani and this for me is a good temporary fit unless HT does another. I think he looks awesome in the display and some people hate on it more than they should lol

Compared to Hot Toys? Yes lol it has its flaws but by itself its not to bad if you pose it and leave it alone. Especially if you hide the hair in the robe or replace it. Thanks for watching! :)
