Slight correction. The batarang was actually seen again when it was used by the penguin to frame Batman for murder about half way through the movie. otherwise pretty awesome review.

Wish I got this back in the day. I prefer the Batman Returns Batsuit to the '89 Batsuit. And there aren't many figures based specifically on the Returns Batsuit. Bruce didn't hold on to the mask after he tore it off. And his hand wasn't gloveless, so I don't think Hot Toys meant for the hands to hold the mask. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aMd-ZbKGldbPXYU.html The remote controlled batarang was taken by the dog, and used by Penguin to frame Batman for a kidnapping later in the film.

Got mine today and I absolutely love it. One of my favorite Hot Toys figures to date. Bruce Wayne is equally as impressive.

The way he was holding the head and when he popped out the mouth the figure looked like Zoom from the Flash Season 2

i dont think they messed up the 89 batman logo. im pretty sure they just didnt have the rights to the other logo so they edited it a bit

Paul, the automatic batarang was used again when the pingiun murders the ceremonie lady (for lighting op the tree) 😉 to frame Batman. But this set looks so sweet. Love the Bruce Wayne figure.

Great review Paul!!! This looks like an amazing set and I really want to pick it up. Michael Keaton is probably my favorite Batman. I go back and forth between him and Christian Bale. I think this is an amazing value for the money. I definitely want a Michelle Pfeiffer Cat Women that would be amazing and make for an awesome display with this figure. Actually just ordered one of these through BBTS... I've been on a Batman kick recently haha. Still really wish Hot Toys would do a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman though.

The boots for the 89 film were actually Nikes and if you look close in some of the close-ups you can see the Nike logo. I think they didn't put the Nike logo on these figures for licensing and/or copyright reasons.

Totally off topic I suppose but would you choose this set or Scarlet Witch? I know the cost is different, and this is coming from someone who already has the '89 Batman. I know the easy answer is BOTH, but honestly I don't think I like the new look for SW in Civil War (I know only a few images are out there right now, and the base seems to be the same as her current one).
