I love the show. Been a big Kamen Rider fan for a long time. So awesome that Hot Toys ventured into this amazing franchise.

I love both of the belts and how the collector belts are motion activated. I love the more modern take on Black and Shadowmoon. I wonder if there will be a Black Rx retelling. The figures are really beautiful I like that during the original version when they would change it would show the organic version before changing to the suit.

There were such a surprise to see from Hot Toys, considering I’m used to seeing 1/6 scale Kamen Rider figures being made by Medicom and their Real Action Heroes series. Both these figures look absolutely amazing

Something worth noting is that Kamen Rider very much IS a show for children. It just happens to be more mature than most (usually.) Black Sun is just an outlier as it's for the people who grew up with Kamen Rider Black. But that's why Kamen Rider is special! Kids deserve heroes that embody hope in every way and fight for justice like Kamen Rider

I am hoping Hot Toys would acquire the license for the mainline shows as well. Kamen Rider has a lot of good suits that could use the Hot Toys treatment. I know there's the Real Action Heroes line, which is very similar to Hot Toys, but RAH does not have the fame and clout that Hot Toys has.

I thought these looked so insane that I preordered them both before I ever watched the show. I had no idea what Kamen Rider was until these figures were announced.

When I was a kid in the earlier 90’s I loved so much Black Kamen Rider that I got his transformation belt as a Christmas gift. Some years latter, with the continuation, Kamen Rider RX, I loved just as much. Truth be told, I liked basically all Tokusatsu and Super Sentai. Still hasn’t watch Black Sun, but I’m pretty sure I gonna enjoy it. Cheers!

Looks cool. I am kinda worried about that glossy base, reminds me of the force awakens bases that kind of "reacted" with the material on the figures' feet and became matte 😢

Hey Justin, you should check out Shin Kamen Rider movie. Is gear towards older audience like Black Sun. Is part of their 50th anniversary project alongside Black Sun. Another thing to note, Kamen Rider debut before Super Sentai, Rider is 1971 and Sentai is 1975 and they have multiple crossover movies during the 2010s until now.

They use the Grabber to make it more poseable like do Flying kick and punch in the air.

Thank you for the review, Justin! This is a surprise to me because I know you're not a fan of Kamen Rider but I'm kinda waiting for you to review one. And I know too most people think that Kamen Rider is a kid show but for me, it is for everyone even though the belt design looks toy-ish but the plot of the story is complicated and mature for the kids to understand overall. So I'm suggesting you check out Kamen Rider The First (2005) & Kamen Rider The Next (2007), Kamen Rider Amazon Series (2016) and Movie (2018), and Shin Kamen Rider (2023) next because all of these are very mature, gory and everything like Kamen Rider Black Sun series. And I hope that Hot Toys or other third-party companies should make more on Kamen Rider figures like S. H. Figuarts!

Black sun a little slim is because he don't wanna eat those blue stuff in the movie, that is why black sun slim and shadow moon looks bigger, because shadow moon eat those blue stuff.

Touching on the antennae, that's a problem on the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider figures. I can only think of one figure in my Figuarts collection with flexible antennae. I've no idea why they do it, it can be pain with some figures. Glad to see you covering a Rider on the channel though, would love to see you cover more and I hope Hot Toys does more Rider suits, I'd love a high end Kiva that isn't the RAH Genesis one, that one is so expensive secondhand

The 80s kamen rider black series was way better the retro manga was good to amazon prime reboot suit look like the manga whitch is cool but the reboot sucked
